Good point. I have just about everything to "Start anew".

And wouldn't you know, the leader since the beginning is still alive, and the ship is still afloat.

The original of originals is still around. Big problem though. We still have some KO's tantrumming in their sleep, just as well, the caverns are filled with miasma, and we lack a farmer/cook/brewer.

We can only hope reinforcements arrive soon. (Or a reclaim to suit such)

Should I reclaim if my 7 survive it?

If your Surviving 7 survive, you should continue. Albiet, you likely will have problems with migrants for a year or 2, but you can use that time to clean up.

Also, you should set up some traps for the goblins.

edit: also, reclaimers are all friends, which might become a problem later on.

yay! my first megabeast (seriously, I've never had one)

edit: actually, he's a rather nice guy. He killed a cat for me.
edit again: yay! I caught him! Those captured goblins will be in for a surprise...  ;D

holy mackerel, the new version is super-fast, I was entirely unprepared.

I noticed that the Fortification corners now appear to be normal walls instead of rainbows.

I solved the magma problem by pumping in water after the magma after the magma had been pumped over the water.

the extra digging is worth not having !!!Dwarves!!!

meh, actually the risk of a fort flood is rather low. the water level isn't even lapping at the doors yet. A fast DFer might even be able to stop the aquifer leak before it does any damage

Unfortunately, I had a small accident when digging out the chamber for the Spark-Gate. Its not much of an issue at the moment, but a careless future leader might have a slight problem on his hands.
