I can't think of a witty thing to say here.

The heck did I do to you people? I'm in a 3-way tie for 3rd in provinces, second last in income, and although my research and army size are doing okay, I'm not in first in either. How am I the number 1 threat?
Subjectively, I would have voted for you just because you're directly in my path of expansion. However I voted "no one", so I've no idea why the others are voting you up.

Also feel free to send me a PM if you'd like to hash out some sorta deal.
Or use the ingame messaging for extra slowness and RP potential. :)

I've been nice as well, but we, er, just happened to try and seize the same province, which happened to be near my capital. The betentacled monsters from the deeps lack the concept of 'personal space' - who knew? :P

(Also that was a very poor showing for the quicksilver stampede. Somehow I remember it being far more destructive. Maybe aphrois are just not as good as white centaurs.)

((I don't know if i am allowed to join in the game right now.

If i am able to, let me join the game.))
I think we're pretty much in the beginning of the end-game so that seems unlikely.
End game-quest to f*ck ohysics and make monies.
Weren't we making super-soldiers? I'm starting to think I'm the only one who focused on the "soldier" part, instead of going directly to "weapon of terror and/or mass destruction".

You may have missed the "super" part.
I'm going for "exceptionally capable" rather than "levels small buildings with stray eyelashes". Less Thanos, more Captain America a-la Tony Stark.

"Ow my occipital lobe. What year is this?"

The effects of this probability manipulation may be dangerous. If we had time, that research would be incredibly useful. For now, try drawing fractal patterns with my computer-attuned mind to attain focus.

It's not a full screenshot, it's part of a screenshot. But I just recovered a bootleg Star Wars 3DV from a pirate cache right next to a small moon that looks like this:

I'm sure it's a coincidence.

How can a field test of a super solider provide any relative measure of its effectiveness if only tested against other super soldiers?  Every scientific experiment requires a control group.

I shall be the control. I shall fight the super soldiers in the final battle as a regular soldier!

With GM permission of course.

((I mean, I guess nothing's stopping you, beyond GM approval, but these guys aren't joking around. Pretty sure we've got some people who could annihilate a few blocks' worth of soldiers without so much as breaking a sweat.))
((Aside from that I have a suspicion that we'll have a "conventional testing" round where the supersoldiers are put up against conventional armed forces first, before getting thrown into an arena or whatever. I mean it makes sense, in order to be "super" soldiers they have to be better than regular soldiers, and the Company doesn't seem like it values human life all that much, so they could "waste" it on such a thing as preliminary testing or showcases.

And yeah. My prototype is probably the weakest overall, if it is even completed in time for the testing, and I could see even it basically cutting a swath through a significant amount of regular armed forces without metaphorically breaking a sweat. These "soldiers" rate anywhere between "unstoppable murdermachine" to "walking weapon of mass destruction", from what I can tell, and a single conventional soldier would need to apply the UWM combat doctrine in order to even have a chance of surviving.

I.e., "sit in a bunker a few miles away and toss nukes at them".))

((I'll take it as a non-result for that particular outcome, but please add the simulator task to the ongoing research so I don't have to re-quote it in the next post.
Actually nevermind, I'll rephrase it instead.

Also, wow. What do I test next? The Lost numbers?))

Shenanigans is not necessarily bad.

But perhaps have it as some kind of high-level special ability, so that not everybody has it, and maybe you have to earn it by defeating a monster that has it, which would be tough. The heroes' fight against Melgalzald in One Punch Man comes to mind. The monster has the ability to reform so long as it has an intact "core" and it can move that "core" around freely, but if it's forced to reconstitute itself completely, it reforms starting with the "core", so it's vulnerable then.
