I'll help you!

here's my plan:

1. Connect crawlspace to engine room

2. Dump heat to crawlspace, flushing the moneys into the engine room

3. Either your problem is solved or mine is.

4 ???

5. Profit!

Later on, in the tavern:

Oldbeard: Those goblins were ants compared to the goblins we had in my day they were. Back then goblins used to be these ten-foot-tall black skinned monsters with skin like steel and huge swords twice as tall as an elf and 3 times wider then a troll! Now, the dwarfs back in my day were much better then this lot *waves walking stick towards other soldiers* we used to have armour that could withstand  a mountain crashng on top of it and....er ....where was I ....something about mountains .....Aha! Now, as I was saying. The mountains we had were at least 12 times bigger and the creatures you found there were a lot more deadly and interesting, did I ever tell you people about the time I fought a chimera? Well, it all started back when I was a lad and...

This could go on a while.

Can I have a crossbowdwarf named OldBeard the Old? Armed of course with his newest invention, which he calls the repeating crossbow, no-one is sure why he calls it this, as it doesn't seem any different from a regular crossbow.

"Yeah, we got space monkeys something bad in the maintenance tunnels. We tried to get 'em by flushing the waste heat from the engine. Turns out that they're fireproof, which does not stop them from being pissed off by it. At least they later moved into the crawlspace under the floors."

When you said that, the first image that came to my mind was of those little annoying pygmies from diablo 2. In any case, I think that it might not work, because as far as I know, only pets can be ridden and slavery isn't implemented yet.

Charles Manson should work on his crossbow skills. On another note, the spinal wound has become infected. This has had a rather detrimental effect on his sanity (being a dwarf, this is especially notable, as dwarfs have little sanity in the first place, and what is there usually just breaks, instead of veering of into hallucination land), although the extent of the damage seems to fluctuate wildly. As an example, here's an excerpt from his journal:

Purring Maggot carcass in hallway this morning. Axe wound on burst stomach. This fort is afraid of me. I have seen it's true face. The hallways are extended canals and the canals are full of blood and when the canals finally scab over all the vermin and their little wamblers will drown. The accumulated filth of all their spores and pacifism will foam up above their waists and all the wardens and nobles will look up and shout "save the booze!".....  ....and I'll look down and whisper "no."

......What the hell did I just write? Man, this is getting worse and worse, I ought to see a doctor. Wait, what is a doctor, and how can it help me? It sounds like some sort of plant, maybe it's medicinal. Whatever that means. I haven't even seen a purring maggot in years. Man, I'd do anything for some of their cheese right now. So, I'm gonna be a marksdwarf, shooting at things takes my mind of the horrible wavy things that appear to eat my face if I stand up too long.

As you can see, it ain't good.

Paranatural: You know that Dasleah actually tried to make one like that, with a focus on giant marsupials. She didn't finish it, though.

I don't think it's possible for a creature to have a zero in any of the stats. Although I may be wrong, especially if you account for things like ghosts and bronze colossi. (which I see as a kind of golem)

Well, there was no sand on the map that I can recall, so they must've been changing the soil as they went over it.

I think that they bring trolls, and beak dogs if they exist within a certain radius of one of their towers. I've actually encountered trolls and beak dogs in the wilderness, so I know that trolls still exist in the game world.

In the zombie mod, zombies leave a trail of... I can't remember right now, but I think it's some kind of sand.

Once a priest said to me "life is, in a word, sacrifice." so I pushed him into the temple pool.

Spiders made of glass? fighting them with ones hands would be inadvisable. Is there a giant variant?
