Nothing really .. I take care of my dorfs.

Though I have spent much time killing animals for no real reason. Once I even had such an abundance of animals that i chasm'd some 100 creatures. :D

edit: in one of my forts i used statues as crosses. i built them over graves like so:

i love this idea.  If you get a statue you want to give to a particular dwarf, you can then mark the coffin beneath as a tomb.  This would work well for an above ground fort.  For an undeground fort I imagine digging out a large room that opens into and underground cave and then doing the same thing.

Thank you. :) I prefer to build them in the caverns though, it gives you more options.. I can't just build a 3x3 wall with a coffin on it above-ground. I have to make a roof over it and then one thing leads to another resulting in this:

Granted I LOVE building stuff like this!.. but sometimes simplicity is the answer.
 hm.. you know. i just noticed if there were an alcove on the back of the thing too, that'd come up to be 7 statues. I need to build a grave/shrine to the starting 7.  8)

I liked the philosopher too. I ... well ...

Come to think of it he was pretty friggin creepy. He didn't ask for anything so I just gave him a small room dug into a mud wall next to the above-ground farms.. and then he harvested and helped out .. and befriended all the children. The philosopher was -always- surrounded by children and they made up the majority of his friends. This wasn't just when harvesting, otherwise too ..

Friggin pedo. Good riddance he's gone!

I have no idea. The system seems wonky.

See this one time I had antmen who had three queens. I attacked and killed everyone .. except one queen. It turned out that once she had two of her many arms chopped off and saw everyone die she said "okay okay. you win" and she was suddenly listed as friendly.

I abandoned the fort for some reason so I don't know what happened to her.. but she didn't harm anyone as they gathered the spoils.

No it does not make sense.

If you say a legendary weaponsmith have an easier time LEARNING metalcrafting when he's actually metalcrafting.. that i can understand. but a dwarf attaching a handle to an axe and suddenly realising something about iron cabinets?

yes, yes .. well i don't actually have a problem with them creating cloth. cloth is good.

i was mainly wondering if they supply the hospital with much-needed thread automatically, or if the hospital can gather threads from cloth in their inventory or such. :)

Moving water is good.

Water source ---> Well ----> End of the line.

The water will carry contaminants so when the dwarves wash it off and it ends up in the well, the current will take it away from the drinking water. They will still make a mess on the ground though .. but the water will be clean.
