Yeah, it was guns that ended the use of full plate. Dudes went back to breastplates, but made of lead, as it was dense enough to stop the shot.

That's what I did last year.

This year, we had to hand in all pre-production paperwork before we started recording. Nothing stops us improvising afterwards, and making reasons for doing so, however.

On a related note, I might be able to help out, if needed.
