The dwarves wouldnt really have beekeeping suits though...
How about putting a Dwarf twist on it, and make it "ant honey"? Ant hives are already in the game, and this would give a player a reason to harvest/promote them. And having an ant hive near your underground crops could offer some sort of benefits re growth-rates.
So this is a good idea...

What if the Still itself were a large piece of metal "furniture"? An optional one that could be installed inside a brewery-like an anvil inside of a blacksmith's shop-either while it was being constructed, or after it was built.
I support it. It would be better than having 2 buildings, now only two options. It'd be like a forge for booze.

Noone actually thinks they are evil anyway. Has there ever been a civilization EVER that thought itself evil? I dont think so. The evil ones are usually the other guys who have different ideas from the supposed "good" guys. Were the Muslims evil in the crusades? They didnt think so. But the Christians were'nt evil either. Neither of them were, neither was anyone else.

Not unpleasant just different. Humans might treat their slaves in different ways than dwarves and elves.
Dwarven slaves would haul stuff and bodyguard etc while being able to get posh jobs. But human ones would be used for worst jobs around.

Waste could be used as fuel for furnaces in desert areas.

Seriously how did those goblins manage to move that adamantine anvil onto the other side of the fortress? And what about that platnium coffin?
Do the scavengers need to throw all those socks into the river?
Some intelligence needs to be given to how the game throws around stuff once you abandon the fortress, Things get thrown around the room its in and maybe a few metres outside it.
And are things going to ever get stolen?
