How did you calculate it's gravity? We don't have any numbers, just "twice as big as any other planet"

2 things;

1: Size is about 2 times that of Jupiter. That was gotten earlier in this very topic.

2: Composition is similar to that of Earth. This was gotten from the fact it is a rock.

If you want a comparison, its like crushing a grape with THE MOON

I'm just saying, we are lucky that Caesar was not realistic, or Maia and Aether would be a small spot on Ozymi.

I just did the calculations on how much gravity Ozymi would have...

Lets just say, we are glad Caesar did not do the research.

Elan should have been orbitting this thing.

Its gravity was in the thousands of g's.

Our Sun has about 28 g's

Ah ****

That is BIG...

So big...

..that...

(I'll PM you. You'll see what I mean.)

Wow. So its in... mid-orbit of Elan/Black Star?

Oh dear.

This is going to SCREW with orbital paths. And it is utter massive. In fact, my guess that this thing is Jupiter Sized.

And a rock.

That is so much land.

Well, I might die due to my plans now.

I just read the Information page...

Its orbit might be a problem... although, its hard to imagine where each of the stars are, and where my planet orbits would be. Maybe it in such an orbit which is not a regular orbit? I guess that could make sense...

Maybe.

I quite like the idea of System C actually. The will be more concerned wit fighting each other than investigating us. And if they do, they will think we are some sort of bioweapon created by the other side.

... and this is good why?

If we go to system C, we would have to look as harmless as possible. Like, I'm not sure, a anthill... with underground superiority.

In other news. I made massive planet. I got plans for it, mind you. But, it is just a rock now.

Time. Time was running out. For the universe. For Paradise. He needed more influence to defeat this threat. To become dependant on mortals... it was a risk, a best. If he ever lost all his worshippers... he too, would fade away. It might be nesscesary...

The Soulblade was gaining power. It, too, was beginning to gain power. Power beyond all mortal means. The power of change. He would hold on to it for now.

He telported to the space outside Aether. It was, in a sense, a world which was still truely innocent. He would settle nearby. But where? He, with all his might, create a great sphere orbitting Maia. This planet surely dwarfed many planets... it was about 2 times larger then the next planet. For now... he would rest...

Aarrook creates Ozymi, a large planet approx. 2 time larger then the next planet in size. It is currently just a giant rock, and is orbitting Maia in far orbit.

(Looks at system B)

That seems to familier... (Earth?)

System A has the advantage of, as far as we can tell, no sentient life. Disadvantage? No. Sentient. Life.

System B has a tier 3 civ; we can expand through the universe reletively quickly, but stealth would be the key. Not to mention a 1 in 8 chance of landing there.

System C would allow a less advanced space-faring or a relatively simple civ. It would be easier to conquer, with still a bit of risk.

System D has a single planet. If we could assimilate quickly, we could aslo grab that ship.

So I, personally, say System D

"Ragnaroc, you have a duty I assign you. There is a world, by name of Incendium. You must go there, for you shall fight the corruption that is there. You must remember to fly over any place with the taint of corruption before fighting the foes. You will cancel out anything of corruption, so disease may not be a matter to you. You should not attempt to engage any non-corrupted, nor shall you fight Bulotha, a dragon of great danger. It might bring the corruption to the land, and you are certainly large enough to eat it alive, but you must wait for reenforcements!" Aarrook uttered at his divine bird. It, too, turned and began heading to the planet Incendium, so it shall begin its mission from its master.

----------Ragnaroc-------------

Above Incendium

There Ragnaroc saw it. The volcanic planet of Incendium. If this was where he was to fight, it was time. Quickly he began sweeping over the corruption of the land, smothering it in the power of Aarrook, and he sensed pain from the encampments. Was it harming them? Or something worse?

A dream... another vision within my thoughts... like the beginning of his existance in this universe... but different. Aarrook had quickly left the refuge so he could initiate the next stage to strengthen the Soulblade... but this power he felt... he knew that such a mental strain could drive a god insane... so he moved to solve it. It was not a strain he thought of... it gave him an idea. He began forming a new soul. A creation of paradise. This new beast... was a great bird. This bird was large by mortal standerds... a mile for wingspan, the its feathers as black as night. It was taller then the tallest trees, mightier than the greatest of the dragons of Aether, it was a true nightmare. It could not be corrupted, and indeed uncorrupted wherever it was. It needed little food, little water, little sleep, and could travel amoungst the stars. It was Ragnaroc, in a forgotten tounge, "God of Birds"...

This bird relieved the strain. Now he was back to working on the Soulblade. He went to the legendary Well of Souls, his own creation, and redirected some of the soul energy of the sword. He knew the sword was structurely sound enough to take in next to indefinite amount of soul energy. The Soulblade was charging. The war would soon take place.

Aarrook creates Ragnaroc, an utterly massive bird with little need for food, water, sleep, and has the ability to travel amoung the stars. It will naturally uncorrupt areas where it lands, due to a dust which it secretes.

Aarrook also alters the Well of Souls to make some souls get absorbed by the Soulblade.

I wonder why we have not encountered a virus.

Although risky to Our wellbeing, they could easily allow us a long range infection capabilities. It is also possible that we could modify Our acid spray to carry such. If we make these viruses, we could modify the virus plan itself to make its hosts cells secrete the very acid we use. One spray could indeed always kill, if not slowly. We should not worry about the average method to prevent viruses (interfereons) due to our acid melting them away.

Suggestion:

Spoiler: Suggested DNA path A (click to show/hide)

as to spreading the virus:

Spoiler: Protosprayer (click to show/hide)

Of course, I need to confirm we have a viruse. Even a bacterium could have useful acid-excretion capabilities...

"As for I, I shall work on making a weapon to fight this... enemy. A weapon not so easily corrupted, and yet light and more powerful then weapons you may create". Aarrook disliked having to break his own goal of paradise. However, he knew it was nesscessary to defeat a threat to the universe. So, on the table of the council-room, he began his creation. He manipulated the very essence which souls are made of to make a special stucture. You see, unlike normal souls, which was weaved similar to cloth, he made this more structured, in a more difficult shape to make. This shape was more of a crystal lattice; this gave a definite shape to the form, unlike a soul, which melded easily. It was sturdy, indefinitely sharp, never dulling, and most importantly, uncorruptable. Why this, of course, is because the corruption has to alter the very shape, which is to sturdy to alter. It was, however, just a sword... but how would one strengten it to acceptable levels?

"The sword's structure is complete. The Soulsword needs a bit more though. It is still too weak to fight gods. I got a plan for something though, so do not worry."

Aarrook creates the Soulblade, a uncorruptable, always sharp sword made out of the same essence souls are. Currently, it is no more ordinary as a mortal's sword.

"There is not much time. I will begin."

Aarrook turns his own devices. Using his energy, he begins by reconstructing the soul of Poena's brother. "When I finish recreating the soul, I need Poena to touch the soul and remember what her brother looked like. I can only do so much. After that, I should be able to recreate him."

The soul was finished. Now, we waited for Poena.
