So whatever happened to this game? Development seemingly ground to a halt. :-\

Agents are only scary if you let them fire at you.  Their lack of armor just makes them a slight nuisance.  I use agent sieges to train my new combat teams.

I use agents to train my liberal troopers. Not their sieges. :P

...I recall Jonathan saying that it would be weird to learn how to dodge from other liberals, so it's non-inclusion may not be entirely accidental.

Dodging demonstrations. Ask any dwarf. ;)

Same here. 1000 juice and capped at 12 recruits.

I don't think Dodge can be taught at the moment. And it's possible to make Death Squad Uniforms, but only if legislation allows them to exist.

How about making it part of the street survival skillset?

Oh, that reminds me. What's the purpose of the Street Sense skill nowadays?

It works against every other force. Just not Agents. It does serve it's purpose. Agents are scary for a reason.

Ah, I thought only Agency raids could cut a safehouse's power in the first place.

I think I've found a bug. Agent raids keep cutting the lights and cameras even if I have a generator running in the building.

This is a feature. It should specifically say "Through some form of high technology..." when telling you that they cut lights and cameras.

Yes, it said something like that. But feature? I've been raided by agents several times, and they've pulled this high-tech voodoo every single time, without fail.

So then what's the point in having a generator at all if it persistently fails to fulfill its one and only purpose?

What you can try to do is find a particularly good agent, brainwash him, send him off to the university to learn some Teaching (Education course) and then use him to train your more reliable liberals. Could be Gang Members, but with a sufficiently proficient teacher, anyone with decent agility could be turned into a killing machine.

If you can break them during interrogation, agents make amazing liberal troopers. Problem is any high-wisdom conservative is going to end up with pretty low base health.

I think Stealth requires tweaking to reduce its current effectiveness. Very careful tweaking, however, given it might easily go from overpowered to useless if detection occurs often enough it becomes nigh-impossible to keep training the skill without fatal consequences.

The fact all the laws are Arch-Conservative does make the game harder as opposed to just longer. Such state of legislation allows for things like better armed and more brutal police, flamethrower-toting firemen raids on your printing presses, commonly seen heavily armed death squads, and arming a good portion of the civilian populace. Also, most people are conservative, so it becomes quite harder to get suitable recruits.

There's a handful of upsides, though. Lax gun control laws means assault weapons are readily available, for instance. And given the new mechanic that guides the strengthening of the CCS, I'm guessing they will be too busy livin' it up in their utopia, meaning they won't assemble and try to ruin your plans for a good while.

Killing mutant animals is considered only armed assault, though perhaps it represents a stronger crime if animal rights aren't minimal.
