Any chance we could get offline progression?

Code Lyoko is back?
:D
I'm not sure if that is what jay meant, but its the first thing I found aside from the facebook page it was on.

A quick google search shows that a single season sequel, called Code Lyoko: Evolution, was released in 2012, but never got officially dubbed. It appears that a fan-dub project is underway and scheduled to begin recording soon, so that may be what was being referred to.

I've been playing elf almost exclusively. Love the trueshot bow. Fate is a bitch though; I've gotten about 20 green and blue non-trueshot bows, but no trueshots better than white.

Dorf is also a lot of fun, if you have good teamwork. I love holding back a tide of vermin while a witch stands safely behind me and blows them up. Of course, if my team isn't paying attention, then I just run out of stamina and get overwhelmed...

As much as I loved the combat and character customization in the first one, the pacing of the story just killed me. So much running around cities, talking to random people and hoping they would be the right one to advance the plot so I can find a new enemy to fight. IMHO, if I have to go more than 5 minutes without fighting something, solving a puzzle, watching a cinematic or experiencing a life-changing plot-twist, then the developers are doing something wrong.

Unless this issue is addressed in the second game, I won't be investing again.

Pfft, new classes. What good are dozens of unique classes if you don't have an appropriate variety of hats to go with them?

Hey guys which Pokemon game is the most valuable in terms of coming in touch with the specifics of the series? Unfortunately, I can't afford a 3DS with the game for it at the moment and I think it'd be great to find out if I'm going to like Pokemon games before the buying.

I recommend Pokemon Omicron/Zeta. Most of the features from the official games are included, plus some additional stuff, and two original story lines to enjoy.

Wish this was on Steam or Android...I love my incremental idle games, but they feel kinda pointless without some background system keeping track of my progress and occasionally spitting out meaningless achievements.

Oh wow. I really didn't expect to see this ever return.

As much as I loved this game over a decade ago, I just can't see myself paying $11.95/mo for it today. If it was closer to $4.95/mo, I'd probably buy a few months subscription for nostalgia's sake.

Given the lack of activity on the official forums, it doesn't seem that many other Egyptians are opting to return either.

Me too. Planetside 2 has a lot of fun to be had, but can get tiresome extremely quickly for some reason. Just the idea of infinitely conquering stuff so the map can lock and reset so you can conquer it again ad infinitum just feels weird and empty. Still, joining a platoon can make the game, but other than that, it's just not for me.
Defiance was surprisingly fun, but I had a lot of connectivity issues and the game felt somewhat dated or poorly designed. It was VERY 'MMORPGly' and, a lot of times, I saw that Gear and Level was would completely ignore Skill.

What I disliked about Planetside 2 was aimbots; sniper-rifles that can 1-shot infantry and be aimed with pinpoint accuracy are a recipe for disaster in any multiplayer FPS. Also there was the whole mess with the graphics...

Defiance simply had no endgame. With power-scaling a lvl 1 could pick up a common-quality weapon and be about 90% as effective as someone who had spent a year grinding for the absolute best possible weapon. Once I had seen the whole of both continents and tried each weapon variety, there was just no incentive to keep playing. And the PvP was basically a zergfest with everyone using only the cheesiest weapon types.

It's been more than a year since I played a MMOFPS and I'd love to get back into one...unfortunately, I've already played Firefall, Planetside2 and Defiance enough to get put off by their shortcomings and there doesn't seem to be much else offering  :(

I'm still playing. I've got a Slayer that's almost maxed and does great dps in both pvp and pve. I'm about halfway through the Lightbinder tree, and just starting to unlock the fun stuff.

The game overall is quite grindy and repetitive, but with enough variety in stages and enemies to keep it from getting getting tedious too quickly. I'm loving the aesthetics, with lots of sexy clothes and  exotic environments and a general sci-fantasy theme.

As much as I yiff at the prospect of a multiplayer sandbox with bikini furries, this has the stank of vaporware all over it  >:(

Also I can't quite nail down what core gameplay is. Is this a survival town defense game? There's a shortage of noteworthy threats if that is the case. Most goblins panic and run when facing the peasant rabble, which makes them so cute you just want to enslave them into the coal mines rather than kill them.

In the stretch goals(which were reached) they included PvP city raids and an enemy faction of elementals. Boss raids were also part of the core game concept, with the trailer showing off a giant Cthulu rampaging through a city.

If you check the Roadmap, the Combat Engine shows still in progress, and the 'Monsters and Denizens' section has hardly been touched. So I'd say they're still going to develop that area a lot.

I'm thinking about buying it, but since it's 30$ I'd like to know something about it before hand. Like, pros and cons of the game? (exclude performance issues from cons. That's a typical early access thing I fully understand.) Is it fun or does it quickly get old? How is the multiplayer? I'm not asking for a full review but I would like to know some things about it like what features are currently in it. It does seem pretty cool though :D

I wouldn't say that it gets old quickly...but it definitely does reach a point after 2-4 weeks(depending on how good you are, and how much help you have) when you've seen all there is to see, built all there is to build, and tamed a dino that can eat any wild dino on the island.

Multiplayer PvE is great. You can access new technology faster by splitting up the unlocks with your tribe members, and you get xp for everything they do around you. Everything just works better when playing with other people.

Multiplayer PvP is brutal. People can steal your stuff and kill you while your offline, and destroy dinos and buildings that took you hours to aquire. Some people like that kind of thing...but I recommend sticking to PvE servers.
