Life Advice / Re: Space colonization[IRL]

Hey, isn't there was a project to make a (successful) nuclear-powered rockets?
Can't we just use it on the moon?

Last I checked (and this was quite a while ago), international laws forbid any form of nuclear devices in space.  It's technically an arms treaty, but effectively overs any nuclear power source as well.

And the fact that they made the sun illegal is not lost on me either.

I think that, in the long run, collecting He3 and other such gasses that are not common on Earth will make space exploration take off, but that will have to wait for a large shift in our energy generation methods at home.

Creative Projects / Re: Pizza

Mmmm....

I haven't made pizza in a while, since making the dough is kinda a pain and a bit tedious for me; I'd use pre-made ones, but I don't like eating food with 156% of my daily sodium and 75% of my daily fat intake (seriously, it's bread and those numbers are real and piss me off).

My best advice would be to not overdo ingredients - keep it simple.  It's better to do several smaller styles then one that's got so much stuff you can't enjoy each item.

Aside from that, pizza is very much like a sandwich - whatever you like can be made to work on it.

Hell, in Japan, I hear they like warm mayo and shrimp.

*shudders*

If you aren't eating enough fruit, that could be the cause of your depressive episodes.

Now I'm hungry. -_-

I used to feel the same way about certain aspects of my physique. I've since learned that sometimes you just get a shitty hand and dealing with it just plain is not worth it.

Yeah, I'm starting to think I should consider this may be the case for me.

'Course, I generally get a 2-3 day downswing once a month (or less), so it's more of a bother than an issue, which also increases my reluctance.

Out of curiousity, why do you feel so strongly against using medicine to alter emotions?

Pride, I guess.  I'd just rather deal with my issues directly.  Also, I feel that society today is to quick to reach for pills to fix things.  For example, I had a cousin visit a few years back, and everyone was freaking out because they didn't bring enough ADHD meds for him - but everything he did was exactly like every child I'd ever met, myself included.  6-year olds should be active and curious to the point of being a bother.

That said, I don't have an issue with the idea of medications per-say, since some people really do need them and are helped by them.  I mostly just don't like the idea of having to use them myself, especially if it's just for the sake of quick fix.

Everything so far today, aside from Gurren Laggan.

I tell you, If I didn't feel so strongly about the idea of using medicine to alter one's mood, I'd go see a doctor about these down swings I get.

So bloody bothersome to get into such a funk; especially since I could have gone to a party if I had felt better, which only makes me more unhappy.

Geh.

Just got my PC's tv recorder back working again, and found an old recording that made me a tiny bit less depressed.

Heh, somehow I doubt that anyone would build the option to censor it into such a game.

In truth, most h-games are censored, due to Japanese laws, but it's easy enough to bypass, and isn't enough to hide what it happening, so even that would probably be enough to get you in trouble.

Hrm.

Sounds like it's talking about an extra wire to be used for the label, but it's hard to say with just that sentence.

I have no images involving henticals that would be in any way legal for this forum.

So, no thralldum for me I'm afraid.  8)
