Nice to see it on there. Grabbed my key from the downloads page of the members portal and have it downloading now.

Simon, will the build releases update on Steam at the same time as they go up on the downloads page of the portal?

Edit: Is my browser just playing up or does the milestone progress button in the 0.38 section of the download page on the members portal not link to anything?

Teoleo, I'm fairly sure Webadict has already said, but you can only enter for games that have been contributed to the giveaway, this is not a wishlist.

I kind of want Saints Row IV, but that's an impossible dream. But if I ever reach that dream in the future, is the game worth it?

I've found it to be a fun game, although if you want to hear all the dialogue from your companions you have to avoid doing any of the activities/hotspots/etc in the city until directed to them by their "side missions". The actual story and loyalty missions are generally good though. It's not an overly long game and can reasonably be 100%ed in 30 or so hours. There is a fair bit of referencing to the earlier games in the series and some jokes will not make sense unless you have played/watched the previous games.

Winners will have 3 days to claim the key from when the pm is sent before it passes to the next in the draw(If you know you will be absent during that time and send me a pm before the draw, I'll hold off on sending the key for the period you are away, but keep it reasonable).

As with last year, if Webadict goes missing/asleep/busy/kumquat during the giveaway, I'll try and keep the lists up to date.

I noticed very little DLC for sale, just base game and some packages of base with DLC but no individual DLC.

I've seen quite a few. 400 days for walking dead, all the killing floor dlc's, skyrim's dlc's, xcom's slingshot and soldier pack dlc's and so on. I haven't seen any for better than 50% off so far though so it may be worth holding off until the game appears on a daily/flash sale as usually dlc gets a better deal at that point. Or hold out until the winter/new year sale as dlc usually gets a bigger discout during that sale from past experience.

This. Usually Steam grinds to a halt due to overload for several hours when one of the big sales starts up on a thursday/friday so hopefully by starting earlier it won't have as bad an effect.

Autumn Sale just started up on Steam, from today the 27th until Dec 3rd. Usual mix of 24 hour sales and 8 hour flash sales.

Also those of you living in the southern hemisphere should scroll down to the bottom of the Steam front-page for your spring sale.

Stealth update. New video short featuring the Medic, new CP map and two new MvM maps with some new mechanics and new upgrades for medic and soldier. Loot from the new MvM tour gives weapon effects if you are interested in that kind of thing.

You have a good point, the main reason I use it though is because I just don't like everyone having the same stats. There's another downside for this just that you can get recruits with terrible will, while they might be really good shots the slightest reason will make them panic and shoot each other. That or aliens will mind-control them and murder everyone in the team.

The other thing that can be good or bad when using Not Created Equally is that it also effects each soldiers base move speed and potential move increases on leveling, and which unlike aim or will you can't see until you take the soldier into a mission. I've ended up with an assault with maxed out will and aim who moves slower than a geriatric sloth and a support who could dash across quarter of the map after taking the sprinter skill choice and hitting Colonel.
