Yes, you can link a pressure plate to a support, such that the support will deconstruct when the pressure plate is triggered.

Can i get dwarfed as a master fisher/ lab assistant for the good doctor? An if possible i would like
to have my very own trained war sea beast for when i go fishing with. got to have protection when
the kraken comes you know?

Our two most skilled Fisherdwarves, Mosus Mosusid and Dodok Amdomas, are both female.  Mosus is Higginbottom III's wife, and Dodok is Graknorke's sister.  Is either of those OK, or do you want me to grab someone else and make them start fishing from Novice?

I can't give you any trained war sea beast, we haven't caught any yet.  I can offer you some lovely war giant sparrows however.

Can you dwarf me as a non crippled adult male? Any would do, just make it so he loves caverns.

The fact that [PET_EXOTIC] creatures breed now, and many common wild creatures are [PET_EXOTIC], seems to make it harder to depopulate the wild animal population.  It's still possible, but you have to work harder at it since the population recovers over time.

Yep.  That's what I usually do - make a magnificent dining hall, set it as a dining hall, then create a meeting area activity zone in it.  Dwarves hang out, eat, enjoy the dining room, but don't throw parties.

Also keep in mind that traffic restrictions only control how a dwarf get to an item or building, they don't affect what items or buildings a dwarf uses.  When a dwarf is deciding what bed to sleep in, or what boulder to make into a mug, he ignores traffic costs and just considers the straight-line distance.  Only after picking a target does the dwarf consider traffic zone designations while figuring out how to reach it.

"legendary dining room" thoughts come from eating in a room designated as a dining room.  If you designate the room as a dining room, but don't designate it as a meeting hall, dwarves will eat there and get good thoughts from the dining room, but won't throw parties.

This is impossible in the vanilla game, so you're talking about a modded-in reaction.  Modded-in reactions don't respect stack sizes, this is true.  Making bone crafts in fortress mode is completely different, doesn't use a reaction, and does work properly with only taking a single bone off a stack.

Is the adamantine armor in a refuse pile?  To get rid of old clothing Toady made items in a refuse pile wear out over time, even if they wouldn't normally.

Question: does mist clean anything at all, or it just makes dwarves happy?

It doesn't seem to clean tiles it hits, but it may clean contamination off dwarves who walk through it.  That contamination may then get on any dwarf who walks through the tile.

You will need to modify the entity ethics in the raws, and then you'll have to generate a new world.  Ethics changes require a world regen.

I feel like I'm missing something, why does my dorf have the title of champion?
