I find temples worth destroying more, once had a goblin temple made out of horn silver. Needless to say my greatest export was ☼horn silver mugs☼

I once found a goblin temple made of solid gold. 7 z levels of gold blocks, about a 20X30 floor plan for each floor, with a 5 tile radius of floor tiles on the ground level, outside the temple. Took forever to disassemble.

That's awesome, now if only we had a Goblin temple made of Cinnabar.
A whole temple made of cinnabun eh? what would you use all that cinnabun for?

Yes

and to make them get back to work sometimes removing the room designation than re-applying it right away seems to do the trick.

Mine happened just a today.

I started a fort to work on a mega project which I haven't disclosed yet.

I just started an ocean side volcano fort... and I spawn next to the volcano, every imp teleports to the surface, luckily I had a dedicated axedorf from start and he butchered them all... but not before the forest caught on fire. I dig underground ASAP, a farmer already dead. I wait for  the fire to pass my stairs and salvage my stone blocks from the caravan.
I moved what I could underground, but caravan caught fire and anything flammable went up in flames. So I quickly establish a carpentry to deal with beds for injured dorfs... booze exploded so I also set up a still. Next thing I know my miner bleeds to death, the other miner is magically on fire (there was fire no where near him) and everyone else is also bleeding to death.

You aren't paying for the ram itself, you're paying them to install it.
gah, I work at a computer store and that made me cringe at the thought... then again I remember when ram was that much... and for apple its always that much XD
