You could do what 40d Dungeon Masters did and just wear 7 hoods and a sock.

Lock the door, stay in your stall and talk shit back at them. They should be vulnerable to biting as they try and slide under to get at you.
This is a good plan, but are you referring to the stall door or the bathroom door?

Argonnek stumbled through the halls and passed out once more. As he faded from consciousness, he smiled at how soft his impromptu bed was.

A few hours later, Argonnek heard some loud noise pounding at the inside of his skull. He looked around, and a dwarf-shaped, dirt-colored blob appeared to be yelling at him. As his vision slowly resolved the blob into an image, he noticed that it was Worm. Looking around, he was surrounded by plants.
Having had quite enough of Worm's brain annihilating shouting, Argonnek stumbled over to a workshop and vomited somewhere inside. "Oh," he muttered, "it's a still." Somewhere deep in his hung over mind, he wondered if his actions would effect the booze supply.

Yes, allow us to speak with her once more. But also, I have one question. You said that we were formed from her essence, so does that mean that we are fragments of her personality?

I say we should increase the size of our child population. On that note, did the university have an on-campus nursery? If so, we lost a prime chance to boost our ankle-biting capabilities.

Im just wondering, and it might be a stupid question, but what happened to the zykor? Arent they station is small vents in the walls and therefore werent slaughtered in the main fight? id love to see some sort of epic last stand by the zykor to defend their king  :o
The king that I introduced to my personal version of "friendly competition?"

He then realizes the deception that Katey is attempting and quickly chainsaws her in two.
Arg! That's gonna screw us. She was one of the smart ones.

Okay, the police inevitably brought cars with them. Can our zombies drive them? If they can, we can quickly return to our nice little cave with all of their munitions.
If we can't take their cars, we'll just have to load all of the munitions into our camper and have the zombies hoof it back to base.

Now, we have to deal with the bodies. If there are unrecoverable corpses, our horde may feast on them, but they'll have to do it quickly. The cops are definitely going to call in reinforcements that we can't defend against (Helicopters, SWAT teams, the National Guard), so we'll have to get away from here soon.

I also have some name suggestions:
4-Headed wolf: Cerberus (of course)
Bloody wolf: Sanguine
Wolf with toothy middle: Maw

I think the ghost wants you to find his bones and then use them in a bone carving. Then you should sell it to him.
Doing that would be so awesome.

DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Re: Safe Windmilling?
« on: February 22, 2012, 08:27:02 pm »
Well, you could build the windmills on solid ground/constructed floor and then, once they have all started spinning build gear assemblies on the z-level below them. I have done this myself several times and can guarantee that it works. It should immunize the inner workings of your fortress from flying building destroyers. Keep in mind that your windmills will still be vulnerable, and that should one be destroyed you'd have to disassemble and reassemble the gearbox below it.

As for keeping the windmills themselves safe... you could, I don't know, build a gigantic tower that reaches the very top of the sky to have your own personal giant wind tunnel.

Return to the camping site to try to recover the van and as much camping gear as possible. Haul loot and van back to cave. Teach the kids to how to pitch tents as simple forward bases. Listen to the news on the van radio to figure out how much panic the horde caused in town.
I agree with this.

Are you unique in the ability to seal minds and communicate directly with the spirits of others?

Hey, maybe if we get regenerate up enough we will be able to conrol what our skin does effectively making us a chameleon. Just an idea.
That seems like a separate ability all together, but a good one nonetheless.

Edit: I think that we should have better regen, and that our horde should have faster learning. The less we have to worry about "true" death, the better.
