I like it! Do I smell a bit of Mass Effect?

Something minor: the '1' and '$4000' are closer together than the price and name, and somehow it bugs me a bit. Maybe putting the 1 in a seperate little subsection or making it "1 x $4000" will solve it.

I'm a bit sad you didn't get the Laser-Maser-Bobaser-Bananafanafofaser.

Anyway. I chose to fight against slugs, thinking there would be dozens of them. There were six. My minions killed them in a few seconds. I then opted for the slug demiboss, and walked in the arena only to find there were 20 giant slugs. Again, the fight lasted no more then a few seconds...

I'm all for rock/metal as well, but I think game music should be non-distracting. Especially strategy game music. Maybe a short but solid guitar solo to celebrate your upgrade from one phase to another?

Will it be possible to see which side in a conflict is doing well, so you can sell better weapons to the underdog and keep the war going, or alternatively sell to the winning guy if your opponents are making too much money off the war? (Indicating this with a moving front and different side colors on the world map would be great, but may be too much work for what it's worth, and it adds clutter)

On another note, that music is great.

PTW, and I prefer the modern map to anything else, but it could use more clearly defined borders and whatnot.

Was going to say exactly this. Add borders to the realistic map and it'll do great in my opinion.

Just read through the whole thread, in a few sittings, and I must say, this looks extremely interesting. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of macuahuitl in the weapon list, but ah well, that's what templates are for.

Most of what Itnetlolor has seems to be the standard included widgetry, please correct me if I'm wrong. But it's relatively easy, depending on your coding/scripting skills, to create your own stuff.

I'm not an expert by any means, but I think the greatest offender is the upper lip. The lips portrude (is that the right word?) too much, too sudden. Just going to throw in some reference:
You can see the lower lip is portruding, I think it goes a bit less sudden than in your drawing, but the upper lip is level with the skin. Just changing the upper lip might help a lot, not sure. Also the nose and eyes might be a tad too big, but I'd wait for an expert opinion on that ;)

I love your use of shadow and light. It gives a lot of depth to the whole piece.

On topic: I took down an Airacobra in a steep dive, but when I wanted to pull up I noticed one of my elevators got damaged. I didn't even manage to jump out in time.

Or you could require an internet connection and connect to random.org, which uses atmospheric noise. Anyway, I think I was wrong, I've found a mention of how the same game state with the same seed should always give the same effect, and that that is less trivial than you'd think, but they never actually mention saving the seed. Sorry about that.

If the data isn't terribly complex, it could be fun to be able to choose to watch the life of any character from arrival to death (or departure if that is possible)  Basically show everything from the eyes of one character.  This would allow community game players to see what their namesake characters have been doing.

If I recall correctly, they mentioned game states in one of their blog posts, and how a certain game state should always evolve the same way (ie, the random seed is saved with the game). So the problem would boil down to sending your friend an early save game (perhaps autosave at game start) as well as a list of user inputs from that moment on, and a single character reference to lock the camra on. Which might be within the realm of possibility. Pretty please?

A shuttle requested emergency docking for medical aid, as they had a few infected crew members that wouldn't make it to the next station. I let them in. Next time, I should ask exactly what they are infected with. While my doctors were scanning the first patient, the alien parasites that had infected the crew hatched, and they tore trough the sickbay, the security team that came running, and then the rest of the station.
