TRIBES - a prehistoric tale of prehistoric people doing prehistoric thingsThis is an RP game, but it will depend mainly on your your specific annual goals. This means that a good RP will help you along but be sure to finish your turn post with a
spoiler listing out your goals for that year and which individuals will be dedicated to those tasks so I don't overlook any. The more people working on something the higher chance and faster it is completed. there is chance for random events to shake things up. These random events could be natural disasters, non player tribes popping up, etc.
Your tribe consists of 50 men, 50 women, 25 children, and 25 elderly.
Population is made up of Peoplestm and may look and act in extremely varying ways. For balance purposes, these will not effect the actual capabilities or life span however as you gain Religion and Culture Bonuses you may mold your society around the RP qualities you desire for your Peoplestm
Men can preform any tasks. must have at least one for pregnancy.
Women can preform any tasks. has a chance of pregnancy as long as there is an available male. pregnancy is simply chance, unless the player enacts a cultural restriction on breeding.
Children have a chance of dieing every year and can not be assigned heavy manual tasks. the chance is vastly reduced as you accommodate them. ex: shelter will increase their survivability 100%
Elderly have a chance of dieing every year and can not be assigned heavy manual tasks. the chance of the elderly dieing is vastly reduced as you accommodate them. ex: shelter will increase their survivability by 50%.
Exploring an adjacent regions may be searched as an annual goal, to move farther you would need to send an Expedition. depending on how many you send and how well supplied they are will determine how long they take, how much they find, or if they survive at all.
Culture is a bonus that is put in place by the people themselves, when one is achive the player will decide what it should be, and its bonus will be decided by me.
Religion is a cultural bonus which binds your society together. It can be used to conquer opposing Civs as well as other secrets to be revealed as they appear.
Reserch a key annual goal that can improve the functionality of your tribe, anything can be researched. however beginning research for a space program on turn one will not produce results.
Annual Goals are the objectives you put forth in your turn. ex: Gather raw materials, Gather Food, Build x, Explore (direction), etc.
Turn schedule is 1 day. The year will end when everyone has posted their turn, but at midnight of the following day of turn start the year will end regardless of post and your tribe will simply continue their last stated goal, even if this means they sit around doing nothing and starve. Turn ones deadline is a bit longer but will still end once all registered players have confirmed their turn.
