It is. Chinese brigantine paper armor can stop arrows, bolts, slashing and piercing weapons easily.

I used to play the closed beta, it was quite fun, but lag was a major issue.

If you had a 150ms ping to the server, playing close range safely was almost impossible.

I used to play the Section 8 beta. It can be fun, but lacked diversity, not sure about Prejudice. The weapon mods seem to make -some- difference.

I'm not very sure if I should get it or not, but eh... It's only ~14 bucks on steam right now. The only bad thing is that most people that play it say it's crap while the reviews are good/alright.

Star Wars Conquests? The concept is great, but the gameplay is horrible. The ballistics my god the ballistics are absolutely horrible  :-\.

Op. Flashpoint or ARMA would be good for you.

I'd recommend the first Flashpoint instead. At least it was the one I liked best.
