Unexpectedly couldn't make it, sorry about that. If someone could tell me what happened that'd be nice.

It seems my dream of a squadron of highly expendable former Smew members has been dashed.

(Captain Silo, Roadviper)

Go back to Sol, request replacement MMCLs and presumably deposit the freeloaders somewhere.

My turn's up. I might change some of it, but that would probably just be shuffling researchers around.

I also tried color coding the resources to make counting them up easier, and because once I'd started it was more work to remove it than do it with the others as well. Effect is kind of nice, but probably not worth the effort.

Cult: Return to recruiting, subtley
Demon: Tie a cloth around your eyes. Assume human form and ride into town on your new bear. Use the name "The Blind Bard". Sing songs that seem happy on the surface but twist peoples minds subliminally. Get a room at the Inn.
Stairway to Heaven!

I mean: this.

This. With one i.

We're an insidious demon, not a circus performer. You want to ride around on a giant bear playing the lute while trying to expand a secret cult?

I agree with our cult continuing subtle recruitment, but I say we hunt down and devour one of the teacher's more useless students. Their first thought will be that his ghost returned, that he had an accomplice, or even that they didn't realize he was missing until now and his parents just forgot about him, rather than that maybe they hanged the wrong guy or that there's an unrelated killer on the loose.

Oh no, not the stew! Hurry past the rocks, seeking a way out or that nefarious dook!

What techs would taming and riding drakes require?

We are clearly dead, dying, or awesome. Probably 2 out of 3.

Examine reflection in desert eagle.

Playing Oblivion tends to inspire me to play dwarf fortress on account of the awesome architecture and various jewelry, if that counts.

I think we should accept his offer; it should be pretty cheap to pay for one human's retirement fund, and will get us a good reference as an employer. It'll also keep him motivated, since if our armies fail we can't pay him, and if he escapes from us he doesn't get paid.

As an added bonus, if we decide we like him we can probably infuse him with dark power, and he can continue the soldiering life as our general rather than just our adviser and drill sergeant.

Ambush something as it emerges from cover.

I would assume weakness is a bodily issue, so life magic should be able to cover it. Unless he fashions you into a meat golem in the process, but even then you probably wouldn't be tired.

Well, there were a lot smashed up before we got there, some of those might be more... informative.

Besides, maybe we can salvage parts or something. Always bad ideas to be had with the right parts.

So, it just now occurred to me how it's both a good thing and bad sign that a six-man frigate has >6 escape pods.

(Captain Silo, Roadviper)

Attempt to put myself out, again. Then berate crew for their lack of discipline, both in destroying a frigate we could have studied, and in leaving their commanding officer on fire for long periods of time. Mention that I suspect that last one may be in breach of some protocol or another.

Then contact HCA forces: "No problem, that's why we came. By the way, would you happen to have any MMCLs lying around? We're missing ours, but otherwise we're fine."

Proceed to inspect wreckage for fighters that can be studied and/or repaired to functionality.

Even if we don't have tractor beams, I'm sure nudging wreckage in the station's direction would work, sort of.

Oh, and use the computer to access... hm... space liquors. Definitely space liquors.
