But it's so much fun watching you guys set up the kindling. Besides, a good forumn bonfire is a really community uniting event.

Trick question, it's all three in their time (though the flight suit guy will of course go into the air like a wussy that doesn't want to be a zombie).

So I started playing yesterday, got in a bunch of fights, used ninja and martial artist a lot, I also made a skin... which appears to be quite popular, I've seen three different people wearing it around... which was of course a huge faux pas because I was wearing it too. I'm somewhat proud of it, even though it has dumb facial expressions.

My favorite probably has to be the fairy girls "Your hair, it goes up! I sooo want to be your friend now!", or failing that the robot that got sent over the bridge and came back and got destroyed then rebuilt and stuff.

I have three kids! They're all pretty good shots at killing zombies, one of them has a revolver that knocks em down, the other is a sniper, then there's the kid with the katana, he's pretty badass.

I just wish the companion AI was better, also I managed to get stuck under a staircase in a buggy as hell house... The lag isn't too bad for me if I don't angle down all the time. But it does get in the way occasionally.

I do like how the grey C becomes lots of grey C's.

Today while reading the new devlog I got a nosebleed, that refused to stop for two hours, and left lots of bloody cloths. This is probably unrelated but I still think the background needs to change, I like the brownish look of the pictured submitted previously, but you could also just turn the brightness down a bit.

I've noticed humans tend to take over goblin civs from the inside, they get kidnapped and then outbreed the local goblin population.

Pro tip, I've discovered that selecting the up/down staircase designation, and clicking where you want it while holding down the < key, is the easiest way to do long staircases.

Toss up between the underground and the new military... well one wouldn't be anywhere near as much fun without the other.

I started on an evil mountain range and the underground is full of zombified critters, I recently had a zombie gremlin, and I sent in three dwarves unarmed to kill him, they spent ages trying to wrestle him to death but you can't kill a zombie by breaking it's arms and legs, they all became legendary wrestlers and fighters before I conscripted my woodcutter and gave him an axe to finish him off. Still, legendary wrestlers are always good to have, now I just have to train them to use weapons so they can actually kill some zombies.

I got a dwarf that demanded "stone bars" (not stone blocks) in a fey mood, something which is impossible to make.

I don't think you can learn from other PCs.

Man, this person under a bridge dragged me underwater, and it said that I had explored some of it, and the only waterfall I find obviously has a cave behind it. Being genre savvy is useful in this game.

Shellycoats are a bitch... in fact most of the mythological creatures in that forest are pretty hard to fight. There's a lot of xp in them though.
