This sort of stuff frequently makes me wonder why you guys drink if this is what it does to you.

Ok, I think I am all prepared for my math test tomorrow.

Actually it would be -infinity to 0 (since all negative numbers are less than 1), then 1 to infinity. But you might not be bothering with that depending on how it's all worded.

Pretty much every mathematics textbook I've ever been assigned has been horrible at explaining how to do the maths...

(x-6)2
(x-6) * (x-6)
When multiplying something like this, you multiply all the terms together, typically the easiest way to do this is to split one side apart and multiply it's little bits individually.
((x-6) * (x)) + ((x-6) * (-6))
((x)(x) + (-6)(x)) + ((x)(-6) + (-6)(-6))
(x2 - 6x) + (-6x + 36)
x2 - 12x + 36

There were actually a good number of vampire works before Dracula, but they were mostly Victorian pulp fiction works that basically used the whole vampire thing as a way of getting around sexual mores or as a cheap thrill thing. In general, none of these were really anything like sophisticated fiction though.
So in that respect I think Twilight might in some ways be more true to the origins of vampire fiction.

sqrt(4x^2+5x)+2x becomes sqrt(4+5/x)+2.
This part, right here. What are the rules going into this? I feel like I'm not knowing something I should really know.

The difference of squares part I get, the second step where you figure out that 5x/(sqrt(4x2+5x)+2) = 5/4 puzzles me though.

Here's one I could us help with.
limit as x approaches + infinity of:
sqrt ( 4x2 + 5x ) - 2x

Perhaps it's not to late to revoke my social contract with America and move to a nicer place.

Maybe Sweden? Neh, the majority there is too the left, I feel as though I wouldn't have much voice as a minority (isn't that weird to think about)

What about Spain or Italy? Well, the frequent riots and destabilizing economy sure don't seem like they'd make a good market for jobs.

What about Germany? Actually, my friend told me that organized crime is a pretty big issue there, so i'd rather not.

France? I don't think I'd like to be in a place where Muslim minorities are prosecuted on a daily basis.

Perhaps i'll just go live in Norway or Japan. Yeah, Japan sounds pretty good. Japan or South Ko- wait, not them, their government is shady as all get out.

Guys, I don't like the world. It's shitty and bad, and makes me feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Or you can live in good ol' America, where almost all of those things are an issue and more! :p

*hugs* It sounds nice Vector, I'm happy for you, and maybe also a bit jealous. >_>

My happy right now is that I'm more or less done with homework, turned out most of it was pretty easy to get a handle on, though there's definitely some things I need to go over, I feel a lot less freaked out than I did this morning.

So I decided to take a break from the homework I can't do to look over the test I'm supposed to be preparing for.

...

I may kind of feel like crying a bit now.

I'm considering dropping this class, but I don't want to do that because while this class is... kind of horrible, the only other class I'm taking is horrible for the exact opposite reason.

It's obviously a perspective representation of someone examining a keylogger, they're holding a magnifying glass in front of the screen because they have very poor eyesight. The reason why the log is the way it is, is because the person who uses the computer likes to type random sequences of zero's and one's on his numpad when he's browsing around. You know, to throw off CSI.

Also whoever they are have made a horrible choice of username and password.
