Dragnar; where are the explosions? There must be explosions.

Well, finals in a lot of places tend to happen at the same time, so it isn't that bad. I know there are finals still going as well, and will go on half of next week.

They really need to invent earbuds that work forever.
Or longer than a year at least.
Yeah, they really do need to make them with a longer lifespan.
Mhm, that would be an usefull invention.
Would save me so much money.
I'm fairly sure this is a case of planned obsolescence; you aren't going to get more durable headphones until the manufacturers can make more money off of them. The ideal profit here comes making the cheapest headphones possible at the highest price possible, but also making them fall apart as often as the populous will stand, while more rarely than the other companies. You know, economics and marketing.

it's the cache that's making your links turn different colours (switching from a:href to a:visited), not your history
With Firefox, it is indeed the history that changes the color of links to show you've visited them. This happens to be easy to test.
My cache auto-deletes every time I close. I clear my history selectively every couple of weeks. I clear my cookies selectively every month or so.

It appears that his hand is not what supports his spear in the air; the angle of the spear, and his knuckles, are wrong for that, and there's just the slightest dab of skin color between the spear and what looks like the edge of his index finger that adds to the effect. There's also a discrepancy between the right shoulder and where the rest of the neck and chest should be, like he's jamming his shoulders up as high as he can, although you can't see the right coloration from the left shoulder through the armour. The shield, although uncolored, and its arm, appear to be the best positioned things on the dwarf.

After the above, try changing the background so the focus is more likely to move to the hands or the face first, instead of right below the breasts.

Soad, you have doodles of greatness. Is the girl with glasses from somewhere else like Spy is?

As a detective, resorting to divination magic is an insult to your sleuthing skills; stand still and locate the archer by his breathing.

Remove their throats in a flash of claws and teeth, and of course use them as meat shields for that hidden archer. In hopefully a different tongue than the humans were using "Pixie! I don't recall your name, but do you know where the archer is?"

when will item decay and item damage make it in? Will decay hit even mundane objects like chalices and doors? And will decay exist in worldgen, too, in some abstract form?

Decay already occurs for things like doors, although it is hard to see in practice most of the time.  I'm not sure when we'll get item damage.  When there's a big combat push, I imagine it'll be up there now.  I don't have it yet, but I'm pretty sure we'll see some objects in stockpiles passing to debris/disappear just to make things make sense.  We might not get to larger scale ruins until we get to that part officially, dev-wise.

If you care at all about keeping such things a surprise, why do you use those "spoiler" words instead of actual spoiler tags? Changing the names doesn't help if you're just going to talk about the details anyway! The only people who would know to stop reading after those silly names are those that already know what they mean.

Okay, seeeecret question under the spoiler:

(I think it's sufficiently removed.) I recall quite a bit of fiction or history, from Morrowind, China, and The King of Dragon Pass that include kinds of ancestor worship in place of god worship, thinking of them as guardians or sources of divination. Are you planning on going in that direction when you take care of religions?

Try and use the forums to study for my finals; perhaps creating some kind of final help mega-thread. This might very well happen in...4 months.

What would you do if all your sensations were amplified times 10?

Yeah, run a ways behind some trees, then collapse like you lost way too much blood and died. Attempt to use this moment of rest and concentration to third-sight the archer(s).

Greet him and go on with my business. Unless, I have nothing better to do, and he looks unoccupied; in which I will strike up a conversation on the gullibility of people with the tone of voice conveying I understand the irony of such a conversation, and that's the exact reason I started it.

What would you do if you found you could relate to the daily life a leprechaun?

Gesturing towards their weapons say "now you see them," snap a claw for dramatic effect and flip them out of existence, "and now you don't." Crushing them is fun, but it's always more fun when you make them act as helpless as they really are.

Yes, though I haven't been at it recently. Basically everything there is digitally done because I've never been happy with my live recording quality, but I do have quite a lot of acoustic guitar songs written.
I guess I should have expected that since others wouldn't have added a part about music to their puzzling adventure otherwise. Could you understand everything you had the played character describe as way too complicated?

I've some practice. In fact, a friend and I are working on a composition of Moskau (by Dschinghis Khan) for a wind ensemble. We're going to surprise our director all to heck and back when we play that piece instead of the Seventeen Come Sunday march at the Spring concert. (They have the same time signature, so it'll work out.)
I expected someone else to ask, but will you have any recordings to show the forum when you're done working on it?

Well, assuming that I would be able to act if I didn't choose to know everything, I would choose to track down just what entity or property was offering me this choice. If possible, I would get the source to offer it to someone who would be happy with the trade, and although they would no longer be able to act, I might be able to use my action to receive chosen bits of information. Might require a person making use of doublethink on the matter. The act might also require torture, but since they would already know pains and joys of a some billion people or more, I doubt they would care.

What would you do if you could weave any material by carefully kneading it and knitting it?

Waitaminute, entity_default contains only civ information, and megabeasts are uncivilized.
What minimal text should I add there to make them playable?
Oh and I guess randomized creatures are unavailable at all, right?
The wiki can probably help you, but you're going to need to create your own creature, no-biome civilization, and possibly body parts, to get to play any of the randomly generated stuff. However, with megabeasts, it just involves making a civ for them, and making that civ always playable.
