Alright playing medieval 2:total war kingdoms (Third age total War mod)

Just beat my alltime high score for number of prisoners captured in one battle(originally around 800 now 1076)

AND I CAN'T REMEBER HOW TO TAKE SCREENSHOTS!

Basically you overfished the area, the only way for it to recover is to leave it for a VERY long time. whenever this happens to me the river might only get 4-6 fish over a 2 year period. The only way to keep it from happening is tons of micro-managment.

Or ya know, embark on a lake or beach with infinate supplies of fish...

I don't use the manager often but it sounds like whatever orders for production you give, it disperses them to all workshops that can follow that order, even if the shop could never complete that order. If i where you i would just manually give orders to your armorers workshop.

Basically, just find the highest magma pipe you can, and dwarf like a roman, and build a massive aquaduct the carries it to where you want, decreaseing in height by 1z level every hundred tiles or so... maybe more.

I'm pretty sure sieges take into account both dead and alive dwarves, so once you hit 80 sieges should continue, even if you kill off 30 dwarves, they may still come.

If you don't like sieges, just go into your Init and turn sieges off

Not if you have magma glassworks. Glass turns time directly into money. Or blocks, as the case may be. But still. Infinite materials.

I'm a bit neurotic about building my constructions out of only blocks (not logs or raw stone)

If you've just got dirt, make the rooms HUEG [sic] and it will make up for the low quality.

You must have misunderstood, what i mean is NO STONE, none at all, you have to build above ground, with wood. and you HAVE to import weapons, armor, etc. 

On my first attempt at this (Dwarf Port) i had to wait 7 years for my first mood, and 3 years for one group of immigrants. but that was a mess up, i left with only 20 booze, and 2 axes. i lasted 8 years before a huge immigrant wave killed my FPS.

My current attempt is going much better, since i could actually prepare.

Most of my forts are sober, my biggest (180 dwarves, king, HFS dead, over 7 million wealth) seems to run just fine without booze, sure my magma silo is going a bit slow, but it's huge so...

running a sober fort is easy, running one without stone is HARD AS HELL

The only time i've seen that thought pop up is when i don't have a well.
So building a well should remove it.


when water go stationary for a few weeks it may go "Stagnant" they'll go as long as possible without drinking it. that might cause it, not sure, I don't play cold maps...
