Good to see another update, but for me it is too little and too late, and makes me appreciate certain slightly comparable open source projects even more.

I mean, multi-year update hiatuses aren't anything new to DF.

So...is the steam version too far way? I'm with the itchy to play df again, though I would prefer to wait so the steam version feels fresher...

I'll be honest, I stopped participating because I really don't have what it takes to play Mafia, it seems.

I tend to really have a lot of social anxiety, and any time I would try to make a post, I would basically get paralyzed, with one time basically having a panic attack.

So yeah, vote me out and let's get this over with.

Yeah, I'm going with finding scum as well, it just seems easier to me to find scum than to find townies.

They will get here when they get here. I'll be honest in saying that your initial assumption of what Secretdorf said isn't entirely inaccurate. However, I'm in the same boat for meta reasons, but I feel like using those is an unfair assumption and doesn't teach players good scumhunting tactics.

Yeah, as mentioned above, been busy today, but I'll make a statement after I address things.

No I don't think Rose is town. Their earlier posts only made them a bit scummy because of counter suspicion. Made me think for a moment they are the mafia godfather with their counter suspicion on luckyowl and something in webadict's post. However that was just a wild stab in the dark, I think.

When I posted before, you and Luckyowl were the only ones who've posted so far, and I assumed it was just the three of us playing, with only one mafia. I didn't realize the ICs were in the game yet. With me being innocent, one of you would have to be mafia, and accusations are how I'd try to find out.

If I was godfather I'd do the same thing as I'm already doing as town, which is try to figure out who's acting the most like they're mafia, and vote for them.

Sometimes it's lurking, and sometimes I'm legitimately busy.

I know I'm townie, so if I stay quiet like most of my previous mafia games then the mafia will win. So I have to ditch my crazy eye play and actually play the game by the book. I'm quite curious, do you find "I'm townie"  claim from Secretdorf less suspicious? Do you think me trying to find the thief to be out of play and scummy?

Oops, didn't see this until I was reviewing things.

I haven't seen your previous mafia games, so I don't know if this is true or not, but if you're telling the truth, that would check out because now you've been ridiculously active so far in this game, which is what initially made me suspicious.
Say I take your word for it, that leads us without any real idea who it might be.

Luckyowl: I was initially suspicious of how active you've been, but you claim that this is because you're town.
Secretdorf: While you're quick to point a finger at me for being a godfather, but from what I've seen of you so far, I put that down more as naivete than scum, though it would be a rather scummy thing to do. If you were scum, it would be beneficial for you to try to pin it on somebody else.
Vector: You've been mostly taking a back seat in favor of teaching people, so that doesn't lead me much to go on. (As well as the fact that we did kind of pull you in when you weren't ready yet. Sorry about that)
webadict: Same as Vector. No idea what to make of you, so withholding judgment.

Alright. There's three of us and one of us is the data thief. I know I'm not the one who stole it. So there's a 50/50 chance for me to catch the thief.
