Regarding stonesense.. Is the expectation that it's currently supposed to be working, in -r1? Or is that a future revision goal?
I've tried a default/brand-new install of both 0.47.04 + dfhack 0.47.04-r1, and attempting to launch stonesense crashes df and dfhack.
There's a few exceptions/errors thrown, but if they're all known, I won't bother pursuing it..

possibly relevant errors in stderr.log:(?)

Why does DF tend to run better on Intel processors compared to their AMD equivalents? I read this review of the Ryzen 3 3300X and 3100, and it shows that DF generates worlds faster on an i7-7700K (3 years older than the Ryzens). (Here's the link to that section of the review, if you're interested). To me, it's a bit strange, given that the Ryzens tend to be on par with (or in some cases, outperform) the Intel chip being compared (the aforementioned i7-7700K), at least in the review I read.
Why is this the case? Is it just down to single-threaded performance or having less cache, or is it more nuanced than that?
I just don't understand why people are so quick to assign themselves specific labels rather than just, y'know, being themselves.Interests and gender are totally different things, though.
I'm a fairly "girly" dude, myself. I enjoy poetry, I (used to) take meticulous care of my hair and general appearance, I appreciate the occasional sappy romance and I will happily spend hours cooing over an adorable cat or other little critter. That doesn't make me any less of a man. Oh, you think it does, cunno? Fight me then!
Doesn't really matter what gender you were born as, you're allowed to just be yourself.
Sexual orientation is obviously a separate issue from "gender identity" or whatever y'all are calling it these days.
