Largebusts just had a visit from a Titan.  I didn't even have a chance to send out my military to kill it. It killed a cat, then the departing caravan from the Mountainhomes killed it.

In Largebusts, I accidentally atom smashed several dwarves (no one had any reaction to that) blew off yet another goblin ambush (stupid sods won't give up) and one of the fortress cats has apparently gained dabbling social skills and become more agile.

ETA: One of my Legendary Wrestlers knocked a Rhesus Macaque into next week. It flew thrity-five spaces and soared over a pond and finally landed.

No, you aren't the only one. I play it 'straight', meaning i imagine it to be a real, living group of beings establishing a fort, behaving more or less normally, and occasionally horrible things happen.  Just how i like to do it.

Migrants either get sent to fish/process fish, do additional brewing/mining/engraving/hauling, or put into the military.  My most epic wrestler killed 9 orcs by himself; when he arrived, he was just Random Peasant # 12.

this wasn't an FB, but once I breach the walls of Hell and demons came out of course.  One of them was some kind of smoke or mist writh thingy that killed several dwarves and pets before Stampy the Badass Hunting Elephant stomped it flat.  I abandoned due to hell induced FPS issues, but Stampy will live on forever.

I always imagined the little Dwarf kids making faces and poking the gobbos with sticks and stuff when I put mine on display.  One of my forts is warring with elves, so unless they have trap avoid, I might add a few to that collection.

I had set a pop cap on my fort of 50, and then something or other happened and a tantrum spiral reduced my fort to 2 kids and four adults.  I bumpoed the cap back up and got migrants just in the nick of time.

Current fort is teetering on disaster's edge, but hasn't fallen over it yet.
