Remember when she literally murdered Tavros? If you read the pesterlogs with the most recent updates, the things being said are all herself talking about god-tier death and how John didn't qualify for either kind of death. The only possible way that Vriska's could revive that wouldn't be bullshit retarded would be to save the trolls from Gamzee. I'm still betting on the kids using the troll session to escape from the side-effects of the scratch.

Also, I'm glad AH didn't do the stupid thing and rush out a flash for the bullshit numerology stuff. The trolls are basically all dead anyway so why even bother doing anything special at all for 6/12.
