 Taric asked the local leader for assignments. The leader offered to pay 1500 credits for killing a Library member who is currently taking samples of biomass from a mostly cleared nest.

 Azen shoots the corpse just to be safe. No reaction from the corpse. (Aaron 6: Azen 1) Aaron quietly sneaks into the machine room, carefully looking at each corner. Behind him, Azen walks in loudly wondering "Hey, what the hell is up with this place? You saw that corpse? corpses scare me. Especially ones with lots of weird fleshy shit. My grandpa was a corpse. Oh, wait, he still is. But he didn't have fleshy stuff coming out of him. I remember he used to buy me lots of ice cream. Those days ice cream was mu-" *SCREECH!* "Hey, what's that?". Aaron stares at him angrily and utters a soundless "fuuuuuuuuu-".

 (2) Captain Johnson tries to shoot the zombies, but forgets where his gun was. Oh, right, there it is.
 The soldiers barely manage to hold the horde off, largely due to the help of the flamethrower. The amount of mutants is now much smaller.

 (4) Josh shoots the dog twice, killing it and making its' head explode into lots of gibs. Groovy. He doesn't find time to reload though. Luckily, the driver says the group is quite close now.

 Agent Strife gives his group orders and approaches the window of the building. He knocks twice on the building and a bandit holding a revolver approaches.
"Hey what are you doing, jackass. Get out if you value your life."
"(3) I have orders to arrest Harland. I was told this is where I can find him."
"Do you think I'm retarded? You're not going to get him. If we surrender, he'll just shoot us too. HEY GUYS, THERE'S SOME KIND OF IDIOT H-"
 Noticing that shit got serious, Torvold shoots the bandit, hitting the head and killing him.
 You hear footsteps above, the other bandits now know you are here.

 Azen and Aaron go inside the lair. It is pitch black in there. The first sight that catches their attention is a human corpse that seems to be merged to a wall by a blob of biomass. The building seems to have been a small factory of some sort. The only exit from the room is a hallway with doors to a room with lots of machinery and another door leading to the stairwell. The surroundings are scarily quiet and ominous.

 Agent Strife meets up with the team. One of the soldiers has a shotgun and a flashbang, the other one has an M16. They go to the specified point and wait outside of the building hidden. The team spots 4 people in the building - 2 in the ground floor and 2 in the second floor.
 "I'm feeling nervous for some reason. You watch that side, I'm going out for a smoke."

 (2) instead of calmly grabbing his weapon like a badass and unloading a storm of lead, Johnson panics at his first sight of mutants and freezes in place. (4) Luckily, the soldiers still manage to hold of the wave of mutants, but they are starting to get heavily outnumbered.

 Taric finds the base commander. So, what now..?

 (1) Josh tries to shoot the dogs, but does horribly at it, wasting 3 shells. A dog then leaps on his leg and bites it, latching on. (1) Josh tries to get the dog off by beating it with the stock of his shotgun, but fails. He gets slightly infected by the dog bite.
 (5) The gunner does a great job, killing two dogs.

Captain Johnson keeps going towards the church (6) and gets there without any problems. He delivers the message to the colonel.
 "Ah, I see. We are allowed to use heavy weaponry, and must clear the lair from which those bastards keep coming. Let's go."
 Capt. Johnson and some other men go to the lair entrance.
 "Okay. Private Douglas will lead. The center is in the basement of this apartment. Once we get there, we burn everything."
 The group enters the apartment. There is some biomass growing on the walls and the smell of infection is strong. The soldier leading the group has a flamethrower. It is pitch black so a few soldiers are using flashlights to light the surroundings for the group. Something can be seen moving in the end of the tunnel.
 "It's probably a horde of infected humans. Squad, open fire!"

 Strife keeps talking with the general.
 "The morale of the soldiers is pretty bad. In most missions about half of a squad dies. Bandits are prevalent, but not very dangerous. They only attack the weak, so they don't earn enough money for good equipment. By the way, we were searching for a bandit leader, a certain Harland. He deals in information trade for the wrong people. We have captured one of his bodyguards not long ago and found out that now, he should be at the abandoned bar in sector 31 with only a minimal amount of guards. We would be grateful if you lead a small team to capture or kill him. I could pay you 2000 credits."

His orders only say that he's one a mission "of vital importance," but he's not willing to say much more, only that he's heading to some of the deepest parts of the zone. Still, he's a friendly, polite chap, if somewhat distant. Wears a long-coat of military fashion and reinforced with Kevlar.

 Taric follows the patrol and arrives at outpost I. It's a huge military outpost. Soldiers come and leave all the time. Some civilians can also be seen, taking shelter from the dangerous outside world. There is an entrance to the metro tunnels, leading much deeper into the zone, but getting a gas mask first is highly recommended.
