Oh man, this makes me hope for moddable rain. Imagine it raining blood in terrifying biomes.

Instead of murky pools of water, we get congealing pools of blood!

well, just got the new version and had a nice fortress starting up, when suddenly...

"it has started raining"

no big deal, except right after this, my dogs outside start dying. then any of my dwarves outside start dying. more precisely, they bleed to death.

when the rain ended, i had two out of the original 7 left. then i got 9 migrants. hooray!

just got to get them  to stay inside

Smaug melted his own gold. Haphestus in Sojourn got tricked by Drizzt. This Dragon burnt himself to death.

So dragons suck.

Don't Forget that Haphestus got tricked again by Jaraxle in Servant of the Shard. Now he's blind

Using the k button is still something you don't have to do if you just use a tileset. Just like you don't have to pick up medkits in a FPS if you use godmode.

That is not an equal comparison. It would be like not having a manual in an FPS to tell you want the medkit looked like.

Besides which I find I use the information keys a lot more on the graphical tilesets.

Trees and shrubs use the same graphics in DigDeeper. You either k everything or just cut trees in an a large area OR go up one z-level to see the tree tops. Oh sh!t, I just cheated!!! No dwarf could possibly look at anything from up in the air.



erm, no they don't. tree's and shrubs both use different representations.

breached the Clown pit, and had all but 3 of my dwarves killed. I figured "hey, might as well kill everything before i save scum. so, i set a meeting point behind the CLowns that came out, and sent all 50-odd animals towards them. most of them died quickly, but some decided they didn't want that.

5 stegosaurus and 1 triceratops (dig deeper) went and buchered around 22 tentacle clowns. of those 6, 1 steggy died after being mobbed by 6 clowns, and 2 other steggy'swill likely die of thier wounds(missing both legs on one and both eyes on another)

Screw the military, I'm breeding a dinosaur army

Had this happen in a DD version. had an army of several hundred antmen, trogs and giant ants invading a small mountainhome. first few times i barely managed to get my adventurer out of there with her skin intact, and when i finally managed to help the dwarves get rid of the last of the monsters, there were maybe 5 dwarves left out of 70ish

I wonder if it is related to the stuck immigrant fighter bug? I hear that can be caused by pausing or somesuch.

I find you can solve that bug by putting them under command  of someone already at the fort, then having that person put on duty.

oh, and DC found a dead orc with no wounds. rezzed him, re killed him, and the seige tag went away

no, there's none left, thats the problem. Even magma-dumped a few Goblin prisoners just to be sure they were all gone.

Just beat an orc seige, but the siege tag is still there. how can i get rid of it?
