The... uh, I'm not sure "murder" describes it adequately, but the murder of Junko Furuta.
Trigger warning: it contains a very long list of things done by several power-mad teenagers to a completely helpless victim, so triggers everywhere. If you think "oh, how bad could it be?", the answer is "worse than you think, even if you think really hard".

Now, I'm not a sensitive guy, even for a DF player. Pretty much don't feel a thing 99 percent of the time, even when I most definitely should.
But this... I felt genuine sadness after reading this. Not because of what was done or what the society did about it, that's merely disgusting.
I was sad because that, one of the few things that managed to disturb me, has happened countless times before, has probably happened in ways that dwarf it in vileness like the Sun dwarfs Mercury, and is probably happening to someone else in the world right now. And I'm sitting in my comfy chair doing nothing about it, not even caring enough to stop it or knowing where to begin - just like everyone else.

Land somewhere far from the lizardmen. Let warthogs come ashore.

I mean, it's a jetski. Who in their right mind would refuse a free jetski ride, even from someone who forgot their first name?

I really like this idea.

If each stockpile tile could hold a certain volume of items, like minecarts or wheelbarrows do right now, it could have a beneficial side effect of dealing with the current problems of random items like boulders preventing stockpile tiles from being used.

It would also allow players to store large amounts of small items(coins, seeds, leather, mugs et cetera) on a small amount of tiles, which would make stockpiling, say, single arrows or threads more feasible even without a large amount of bins.

While we're at it, let's determine our name, our crush's name, and roll the dice to determine our respective genders. Preferably in a way that does not make the minotaur shield anyone else's eyes.
Oh, and use the crush's name in place of %crush_name%. If we do not know, politely skip that fact in our admission unless we're going for Comedy this turn.

There. I think I've put enough precautions to foolproof this particular admission of love. Anyone got anything they'd like to add to it?

Having already had redirections to these environs, I am relieved but surprised that deliberate griefers haven't (to my knowledge) expanded their Steam offensive to here. Or maybe our actual over-zealous dictator ("All Hail The Hypnotoady!") has been so good at the suppression of legitimate free speech that I haven't noticed all the....

I don't think now is quite the right moment to expect them here, though. DF is still pretty obscure by Steam standards, which means relatively few griefers, and Steam discussions are currently a more fertile ground for trolling, what with all that 'censorship' stuff going on. If they hit anywhere next, it'll probably be groups in Reddit or Facebook rather than someplace as remote as Bay 12. Trolls prefer to have audience.
