did it at night, had forgotton to max out gamma and brightness so i was playing in total darkness now i can see where the patrols are etc.

I actually just ran, i found (after many deaths) an angle where i could run faster than the gun could track me.

After that got through to freedom in the dark valley pretty quick and now enroute back to garbage.

How do the equipment/cash dynamics work in this game? In shadow of chenobyl it wasnt worth taking side missions or buying expensive stuff (just ammo and occasionally meds). Is it worth buying stuff and upgrading ur guns in this game, or do u just find better stuff quicker?

ive done a few small side jobs and payed for some upgrades but im wondering if its worth it. Upgrades arnt cheap.

Can i download a game on one computer and install it on another one?

Yes, you can.

1) Copy the download file and the temp folder as they are located near each other
2) Paste on another computer that has connection to the internet
3) Run the download file and fill in the login/password if necessary
4) The installation process will start automatically, if the temporary folder is in place, since it will find the install files.

NOTE: Internet connection is required for performing the installation process. Installation cannot be made manually. It is done automatically and it requires internet connection to be performed properly.

this was my experience. I tried installing it on a flash drive then plugging the flash into my gaming pc but it wouldnt work. Initially you just down load a link file. clicking that allows u to download the full game, but it doesnt give u a set up file (as far as i can tell) it just installs it.

just fired this up and played the tutorial (had to wait a week for a new wireless card gamersgate demand that the computer that plays must be connected to internets)

so far i think this games awsome

i really like that ships have to decellerate by flipping over, and i really like the potentail for niche ship designs - they included hydrogen scoops! I also like that its free roam in 3d, no dam starlanes.

Games workshop have been rereleasing their games since the 1980s and theyve gone through a number of lore and aesthetic revisions since then. Some sides such as the rines have changed little over the decades, others quite a bit.

Necrons are a relativly young side, i remember them being first introduced in the late 1990s. They had little to no back story then, and thats sort of what made them interesting. I havnt played any gw game for about 6 years or so so i dont realy know how theyve developed.

rarrrrr we are scary

ive seen the more modern models and theyve got flying pryamids n stuff now i think

The tyranids have alawys been based on the aliens architype, just like th zurg in starcraft (and the aliens in 60% of sciencefiction). However aesthetically they look much more like the aliens from Fox (R) films now than they used to imo.

Orks also used to be quite different although theyve improved orks aesthtics alot over time imo

couldnt find an actual ork, but if uve seen any of their post 2000 vehicals u get the idea

in my view both in 40k and regular wh gamesworkshop ran out of decent ideas for lore about a decade ago

ive still got quite a few models im trying to get rid off. Any UK bay12s pm me ur postal and ill send u models for free. If ur abroad ul have to find away of paying the postal costs.

i got confused at the end of oblivion lost. I killed all t monilith scum did all the portals on the roof top, and then went through a last portal too just a yard at the back. Killed a mutant (the one that drags you out of ur body) then hid from a blow out, then couldnt work out what i was ment to do.

so thats how u get through aquifers...

also i too noted the lack of war bears in the fortress. As the dwarf fortress manual says:

Step 108: Enlist war bears

dont think so, although there is another way out of the dark valley. Just neck a load of vodka (those syringes are for pussies) and run. Also theres some awsome artifacts in vanilla just inside the dark valley.
