Actually, all of that would be possible, but I think that's for another mod. I had considered the door that turns you around as a dirty trick in a dungeon, though, previously (doors just teleport you to a marker).

There will be more update today. Hopefully more interesting. Maybe.

As for the base layout, it's just a work camp for a megaproject (vault challenge).

I'm afraid you cannot amke new skills, nor can you make wooden weapons.

I think the latter should be in the next release.

Why, I thought this was a gentlemen's game! Of course the single-eye eyewear rulebook will be considered. And, do not forget, Single-Eye Eyewear: Revenge (v1.02) has banned Morul, Ironblood, and Oldbeard from the game, as well as weapons which erase the map. There also will be no tokens, and additional rules are to be hardcover books only- preferably rimmed in precious metal and/or gems. Books that menace with spikes will always be accepted as well.

Now, with the apparent lack of gentlemen in such times, I suppose perhaps we shall have to make due with the common folk.

To play TACTICUS:
Rules may be added as the game goes, excluding excluded books.
Inalienable rules:
Use dice or coins to determine the outcome of moves.
Summon combatants to the battlefield, players themselves do not fight (are we apes, I ask you??).
Order of play will be edited into the first post, wait your turn.
A visual field of play will be maintained, you are not REQUIRED to update it.

Anyone who wishes to explain more clearly may, I must leave or be late for tea.

Yes, really.

But what's actually the problem is this- when the elven merchants wandered onto my map, they and their animals ALL immediately went berserk. One or two that entered later weren't berserk but stayed around until they went crazy from starvation, like any other merchant that was trapped. I had traded with them previously, and removed my depot entirely in the intervening time, not wishing to trade with anyone.

This is 40d13, but I had it happen a while ago in 40d with humans. They had an even mix of insanity types though- I spotted a melancholy one repeatedly jump off a ledge. At that time I did have a depot, and I THINK it was accessible.

Thoughts? And is the coincidence not funny?

There's no reason you can't have "Rapeday is held once every four years to celebrate the killing of the tentacle demon", or something. And the amount of preparation should scale to how often it is- a celebration held every 6 months shouldn't take more than two months to prepare, a year for something every four years, etc.

And it might not be things that require items. For example, Rapeday could... um... require every dwarven couple to have a bed. Or maybe everybody spars on Demonwhacked.

I should assume you know how to play, we shall use Panstheim v3.1415926535897932 core rules, any other rulebooks to be added on appropriately, of course.

Done! Maces and spears are now CAN_STONE, various stones are [SHARP] (which doesn't prevent them from being in blunt weapons), staves have been added, all gems are [SHARP] so you can have Ruby Swords, which makes limited sense but is cool.

Any suggestions for a quick file upload site?

We do already have aquifers five feet below the surface, which except on beaches (and I mean in the SAND) and in swamps (where the water still wouldn't flood like that) should be 600-800 yards down.
