to prevent that...I throw up a crappy looking and hastily made defense before I do anything....also i usually start big.....so I have to...right now I am playing the wizard tower mod and I started by channeling  a 100+ by 100+ square then built a big wall around....haven't got any further than that and I played for at least an hour or two (takes a long time for the wizards to gain mining levels so its pretty slow)

Yeah in the pm I suggested he make it open source if he has no plans to update it....only makes sense to me...

Part of the palms are cut off cause they are multi level...so if you look the cut off ones are on higher ground than the ones you see in full.

Thats true...at least until multi tile entities become possible..then we could have large 2x2 trees or whatever.

Yes those are certainly ones to be had but I was referring to non explosive ones. Grenades are already implemented in the form of Molotov cocktails (but could be expanded obviously)...but there is nothing for general combat use.

Well those palm trees look bad ass!

Do all sprites always show up in the same position?...cause you could add a tiny (tiny tiny) curve into the palm trees and have them generate in a random facing to increase the look of variety....
