Yeah, there's no reliable way to create clothing with reactions, unfortunately.

Blast and damn.

I was probably just going to add the wrench in only for the dorfs, I don't want goblin wrenchers showing up.

DF Modding / Goggles and Wrenches

Alright dorf enthusiasts, I'd like to add a reaction that takes cut glass or gems and a piece of cloth or leather to make a pair of goggles that would be worn on the face and provide a small amount of armor.  I'm also thinking of replacing maces with Wrenches. The question is How. The new system frankly baffles me. Any input, or even pointers to a tutorial, would be welcome.

Very nice. I'm adding these right away.

It might be worth looking up Chinese and ayurvedic medical practices. Before the time of the roman empire some Chinese alchemists were known to be using "Autumn Minerals" to treat respiratory disorders.  Today we call them steroids. Granted, these were the same people who would routinely give themselves severe mercury and arsenic poisoning...

Papermaking could be accomplished in two ways, rag papers made from cloth, and pulp papers made from wood. If you use a high-quality plant fiber cloth to make paper I can see it becoming a valuable (and light) trade good in it's own right. Offering pulp paper to the dirty hippies elves would probably cause a diplomatic "incident"

Throwing Anvils. For that Loony Tunes feeling.

I think you can add the [METAL_PREF] tag to add steel to human civ's.
