GO BEYOND THE IMPOSSIBLE AND KICK REASON TO SBURB.

I think you just return false.

If I could control reality I would change things so that teenagers were capable of accurate self-assessment.

Sir your desktop is abominably cluttered.  You should be ashamed.

I managed to redo it a bit and do some soft shading.

Flash, though, Illustrator is not cooperating just yet.

Hrm, I'll give it another look at some point.  The blob tool sounds close to what I want.  And yeah, Flash is less stable than a fat man on a unicycle.

Illustrator doesn't have comparable drawing tools, unless they're hidden somewhere deep in the guts of the program.  It seems to exclusively use paths and I exclusively use the paintbrush tool. >_<

Unbelievable.

I totally redid the nose, lips, left-hand eye and hair on that image, restructuring it so it all followed the contours of the face properly.  Then when I started adding some lighting, I hit ctrl-S, and Flash crashed.   FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.

Thank you for your suggestions for improvement, though, Spreggo/Soadreqm.  It certainly looked much better, not to mention more feminine (it's a she, but everyone so far has identified it as male), with a decent nose and lips.  FFFFF I am seriously pissed at Flash, if it crashed and I didn't save I would be annoyed but accepting of my mistake, crashing WHILE saving is just pissing in my face.

freeformschooler, thank you for the compliment but the only thing stopping your art from being leagues ahead of mine is practice.

General Discussion / Re: MSPA: [S] Equius: Seek the highb100d.
« on: February 07, 2011, 10:38:00 am »
What a waste of a death.  Calling Equius a gag character is bullshit, the consorts are gag characters.  Casey and Mutie are gag characters.  Equius was a successful SBURB player with significant impact on the story and relationships with most of the other characters.  Dammit I have bl00 balls over this anticlimax.

I may be way too invested in this comic.  I liked Equius a lot. :(

LOCAL_CREATURE_MAT is a token used to reference a creature material from outside a creature.  Rephikul, if you think that, then you musn't have delved into the raws too often, because it's done repeatedly all across the creature definitions.

All you need is SELECT_TISSUE:ALL, !!crundle!!.

Trying to get used to a tiny new tablet on a large monitor.  I'm regretting not saving up and getting a decent size.  This is the only worthwhile doodle to come out of three hours of drawing.

It appears that boiling rock isn't actually very good for transferring syndromes at all.  I've never gotten it to work reliably myself.

I'm currently trying to resolve some stubborn and rather unpleasant bugs, such as not being able to generate a world with a controllable civ in it.  I'll let you guys know if/when I fix it.
