Haven't run into people magically knowing I committed crimes issue myself actually, so far anytime I've been caught the dude has to actually scream out first and a guard hear it before I get tagged.  Is your noise/conspicousness really high cause there is some wonkyness with people hearing you committing crimes absurd distances away.

Also, the maintenance feat for padding armor is broken AF.  0 noise full plate... I am now stealth knight, wearing 100 pounds of metal and silent as a ghost.

Everyone saying Hi, Henry! and God save you Henry gets REALLY annoying after awhile.

Also in regards to getting away with shit:

« on: February 16, 2018, 08:30:06 am »
That's also not particularly fair to this game since there's no minimum deck size unlike other deck builder games.  Once you know what all cards you can get in a run, what the different routes can actually do for you card removal/upgrade wise, and what the relics do... I'd say you'd sit around a solid 50% greater win-rate than a true rng game?  At the very least you'll get closer to winning every time if you play smart.

On a different note, best deck shiv-dead stick deck.  Shiv exhaust giving you random cards is bloody hilarious.

Played the heck outta this game so far, this is mostly a ptw at the moment.

Would highly recommend getting the save without saviour schnapes mod that's on nexus mods though.  Some of the quests are rather... glitchy around the 20 hour mark or so of gameplay?  I'd understand the not letting you save easily mechanic if the game had been bug tested more but the fact that you can fail some main story missions due to glitches/have the game crash and lose hours of progress isn't really something anyone should deal with.

Overall... 7.5/10 so far, would be 10/10 if the game had any semblance of QA+Bug fixing done before release...

Masterwork DF / Re: i Reported Meph's Patreon.

I know this is a bit of a paranoid thing to say but: Meph hasn't posted anything on his facebook/world bicycling website/here or even logged in here since april of this year.  Last going off I think his twitter feed said he was biking in Africa?  You are all complaining he hasn't updated patreon but I think he may legit be mia for a lot more than just that.

edit* Nevermind, dug deeper and found that his reddit account is still active.  Dude's just decided to say fuck it to all his obligations.  Continue ranting.

folly if you shame people they can lose iron-willed and other beneficial modifiers.  I had the same thing happen where my favorite orc betrayed me and then got iron willed, if you just shame him down some levels he'll degrade and be able to be dominated again.

The game definitely feels harder early on, but late game you end up with an insane power level due to covert action buffs and the Templer/reaper.... the skirmisher is kinda bad though really... at least compared to the other faction heroes and most of your units.
What's wrong with the Skirmisher?
Maybe it's just the skirmisher I have, but his shot's never get above an 80% chance to hit and the bullpup does worse damage than any other weapon I have aside from pistols and the templers auto-pistol.  Even the best I've seen his rip-shot abilities get for to-hit is around 90% on a flanked/lower than him enemy.  Sure he can do two actions+grapple but they don't seem all that reliable, compared to say most other units.

Also, superior extended mag reaper with banish is godly.  Absolutely insanely strong, I had it one-shot the psionic chosen when he was max ranked on the assault his base mission.

Wow that's a bad bug, btw to all you bay12 people.  I am currently in a guild called the Spartans, based out of lymhurst with t4-5 crafting buildings free to use and only a 10% guild tax (to pay to upgrade said buildings.)  If you want to join me and the other 40-ish spartans pm me on here.  We use discord for voice comms but it's not nessicary if you want to just use the ingame guild chat!  If any of you are in a small guild as well that would maybe want to consider an alliance I can set you up with contact to my guild leader.

Hope everyones having fun, I sure am!  Any reservations previous to launch have kinda melted away for me, even when there is a que to log in hah

ah I stand corrected, I must have been a few minutes short to the start of the last beta cause I had assumed that the 1 for 1 gold couldn't possibly have been someone selling all their gold that cheap.

Some of those issues and weirdness in the markets does come about from the need to grind.  Such as, correct me if I am wrong, but to be able to farm high grade products from animals don't you need to start with chickens?  Could be that people are producing them just so they can get to the next step so they are effectively worthless.  By the same merit, armor and low grade mats can be shoveled into the recycle to fast-learn crafting of that tree.  I know that when I played I put in tons of massive buy orders for really low grade mats at the starter towns just so I could shovel it into crafting exp.  Same deal is that you always need low grade basic mats to make higher grade mats (unless they removed that) so there's always the need for tier 2-5 resources to be dragged out to the blackzones where you can't farm them.  And personally it was worth paying off new players to gather it for me, then to spend the extra time gathering it myself.

As well, there's always the silver sink of buying gold, if gold bottoms out then the game creates more gold from thin air.

A lot of my time was honestly spent shipping stuff from the mainland to the blackzone market/guilds who wanted it and then coming back again.  It made me a lot of silver/gold and even crafting exp as I used overflow to upgrade myself.  Wasn't the funnest thing but then again I flew industrial in EVE online so same difference.

The games fun, I just don't have time to play any sort of game so I can't speak as to the updates.  It suffers a bit from the grind/how hard it is to make gear/ect.  Like, the best way to make money is to play dangerously but if you don't have a good/trustworthy group then that goes out the window.  I was in a fun guild for awhile but it started to get drama-y so I stopped playing altogether.

Folly I sent you a pm btw.
