You wouldn't want to use weapons like those if you wanted to take a planet for yourself, though. Even a barrage of conventional WMDs would render much of the place uninhabitable.

And since you can't seem to destroy planets in Stellaris, we can assume that even the most warlike species with the most liberal bombardment policies avoids the use of God Rods and the like.
I really do wish you could destroy worlds ala Distant worlds.  The closest thing you can do in stellaris is capture them and then purge all the population....

You can't release all of the expansions with vanilla... even vanilla DW didn't have world destroyers.
No but vanilla DW did have nuclear weapons you could use for bombardment that destroyed habitability/population fairly fast.... at least I think it did.

Does the cleanliness of rooms effect the odds of diseases? It was already stated it effects the odds of infection. I might try a colony with all sterile tiles and a few colonist that have a higher priority on cleaning, just to see if its true or not.
It possibly may, but it might also be based on an event trigger.  Can't say for certain.  That said, (not sure if mods or base game) but some bug/animal bites seem to trigger certain diseases as well.  Could swear I've seen malaria caught from mosquitoes and plague from rats.

Yeah having people who are actually incapable of using the 'social' skill at all, and still being able to get married is one of the more amusing things about this game.

My wtf is pretty much the wtf thread itself.

WTF why is neon like, trying to ruin everyone's fun for most game threads and the wtf thread.  It's mind blowing how insanely cynical someone can be if they put their mind to it.  No seriously, I'm impressed neon.  (Love you still buddy.)

Well, presumably there's no nice grave-sites of their friends to visit for that joy-bonus and no chess boards to play by themselves so all they have it talking to each other.... well talking and the other thing that happens when they become lovers.  That's actually a really nice joy boost, far better than staring at the grave of their long lost brother.

Yeah for prisons I tend to try and have a decently large room with a table and some sort of joy object in it.  Not having to eat on the floor/having something to actually do tends to make prisoners a lot more stable.

For the random breaks, you only get warnings about 'hard' breaks now.  So berserk/fire lighting/leaving the colony.

whoa the level of detail on these thing if real is impressive
Can confirm it's real, I get around most of the mental breaks by giving people chairs at their workstations and hiding 'ugly' objects like raw leather, stone boulders, mechanoid corpses in a different room/outside.

Really, a high quality chair will give such a high +comfort bonus that they will stand a lot of things before getting angry.

Hey, I joined the discord and I'm working on making a character during work today.  I was hoping to make an illusion or enchantment specialized wizard (Which of course shouldn't break the game even slightly for anyone else seeing as how only really evocation and summoning are op in pathfinder.)

That said, I can really do anything (veteran in pathfinder :P ) and would be happy to play anything that fits better with the party-comp.

My personal philosophy when looking at early access games is to judge them based on how they are at the moment, not based on their potential. Works out for me. I just get games if they appeal to me and look fun to play, regardless of what may happen to them in the future.
That only doesn't work when people then start hacking features that already exist outta the game (DAMN YOU STARBOUND)

That said, as someone who got into rimworld pretty much the second it went up on the first alpha, yeah it's always been enjoyable.

As for end game content, you kinda want to look at getting mods that add end game content like say glittertech.  As it is, even a massive army of base game raiders/mechanoids are super easy to kill but the commandos that glittertech for example adds stay difficult all along.

Yeah I'm sitting at 26 people now, and i think it's mostly due to my 15+ social skill bionic angle who's name is Seraph (never changed his name i swear.)

That said, I'm considering stealing organs for money now (if trade ships ever showed up) but I am also considering making a sword+personal shield swarm unit. heheh

So, I do have glittertech, prostetics and enhanced gardens installed but um has anyone else noticed (unless it's one of those mods doing it) that it's a lot easier to recruit insane numbers of people?
Spoiler: Warning, large image (click to show/hide)
Cause um, I don't remember it being even slightly possible to get this many before.

Back and forth motion seems to count for incubators, so reckon it'll count as long as you are moving the phone or whatever.
Can't wait to see the first marketed rocking cradle for pokemon eggs.

313
yeah some sorta garenteed pokemon encounter, and or item every like... even 10 km would be amazing..... because it would give me something every time I bike to work haha.

It works based off of the ingress map (at least the original meat of it was, if what girlinhat says is right then it may have changed a fair bit with new additions).  https://www.ingress.com/intel  You'd need an ingress account to check your area but all of the circles on the map are either pokestops or gyms by and large.

That said, ingress points were player submitted... so you get towns with a population of 500 like mine that looks like this:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Where me and a few friends submitted those points ourselves by and large because we play ingress.  This said I don't have a phone currently that's capable of running pokemon go so I can't confirm 100% but research and talking to other people who have played both confirm that what I say is true.

On that topic though, while I agree the multiplayer part of it for gym battles and such is great and all.... it does make very little sense that you can`t find any pokemon in the woods, only at walmart.

Yeah somethings wrong with either your region data or gps.  It should show a slightly more cartoony version of google maps for your area.
