Yeah, I love the images on the coins. I once tried the locked vault method in a fort, and I used all the silver I had laying around to make silver coins. (Fort never progressed far enough to actually turn the economy on.)

I do hope coins will be fixed soon. I see it as a way to brag about how rich your fort is. Fill a massive vault with gold coins and bars and statues and gems and make the walls and floor out of gold...

Actually, I think the "value" of looking at a chained-up giant naked woman might have more to do with them getting distracted than the table...  Although that IS a superior quality chalk table.  Wait, is that studded with GREEN GLASS?  Look how well it's been studded, as well!

My theory is that Armok is the top dog of the pantheon in every worldgen possible. All other gods in whatever world you're playing in are his servants which he uses for non-bloody things. Except the occasional war god who's essentially his drinking buddy.

Maybe it should be biscuits instead of roasts. Not as good, but we'd get more.

...But you're probably more competent at managing the beginning than I. By the time I get a still and kitchen running, all my dwarves are half-dead from dehydration. Soooo I should probably stop trying to give advice that probably doesn't work/matter and let the person who knows what they're doing do it.

Farming!

I make it a rule to cook ONLY the non-dwarven booze. That is, if there's no food left. First food, then non-dwarf booze. NEVER dwarf booze. Same for seeds. Non-dwarf seeds are the only seeds cooked.

So that's my suggestion for our food stockpile. Just a suggestion, though.
