So I'm kind of between MMOs at the moment and this seems like it might be an amusing place to settle down for awhile. Only thing is that I am effectively broke and generally reluctant to spend money anyway. Is that going to be a problem here?

Kenshi has just kind of wandered in and out as I take interest in it, but hold off on actually buying fearing vaporware. I'd love to land a permanent solution to that problem, so I'm in.

I'd like to join in on this. I've played the first game through to completion a few times and enjoyed it immensely. Getting to play roughly the same game with the B12 crew should be glorious.

So, my beta invite just turned up today. Is there some B12-endorsed village I should check out or am I to simply wing it in the wilds?

I'm pretty sure the cameras are placed far away enough to keep that from happening though.
Much of the wiki's fiction contains examples of SCPs entering a sort of active state during crises that causes them to behave a little more erratically than when in cold storage or laboratory conditions. While its entirely possibly that the cameras were safely positioned before the containment breach it entirely within the scope of the fiction for that state of affairs to have changed. Heck, 895 already has an addendum stating that the cameras had to be moved further out after a minor containment failure.

Used Evil Marahadja's referral since it was at top of page.

I'm personally hoping for a demolitionist enemy, one that attempts to sneak up to your walls to plant TNT. Not some suicide bomber that you'll lose people just trying to stop, but a more stealthy saboteur.
This just seems too subtle. What is obviously needed is a bulky, troll-style enemy that just runs at your walls head-on to try to crash through them bodily and then rampages through the main structure. I love the idea of some kind of giant flinging blocks everywhere as he just runs right through outbuilding walls to get at the delicious yellow candies inside. Bonus points if you can slow them with cleverly designed moats or brace the outer walls to they just come away with a really nasty concussion.

The rule is quite simple, everything under a roof gets the bonus.

Interior walls doesn't matter, so is the shape of the entire building. as long as you see the roof, you know the bonus is applied.

We will do something like this for the dungeons as well, only replacing roofs with torches and candles.
Thank you for the quick reply and simple answer. I appreciate the readibility of the player-side interface.

So what are the exact conditions under which a zone receives an efficiency boost from a roof? Do the exterior walls need to be placed on the zone to count? Can I make multiple zones share a room and still have it work? Does it even need to be a rectangle or can I do funky shapes for where I need to build around ledges? I've already set up some fairly basic walls around my carpentry, but I'm wondering if I'm even doing it right and what fancier options I could pursue.

@phr00t It turns out that much of the problem was my script blockers. Since I had the IR domain unblocked, it didn't occur to me that there may be embedded video in the description pages that I wasn't seeing (off-site hosting needs a separate unblocking). This meant that when I went to your project's description page in place of the rather snappy trailer was a blurry frame from around 1:17 in the trailer that's apparently a normally hidden part of the page background. That particular frame is dark, features no creatures and only has a few tree-like structures in the distance by way of features. Thus my first (hugely unfair) impression was of an unbelievably lazy Minecraft rip-off with a bit of FPS mixed in that wasn't even trying to sell itself as anything better than that.

I'm deeply embarrassed about this whole exchange.  :-[

3079 developer here. Sorry if you think it looks bland :( I'm continuously working on the graphics, and there is building in 3079. I'll see if I can get an update to the description.
I took a look at the preview videos. 3079 actually looks pretty neat now that I've seen the game in motion. My critique was mainly aimed at the IR preview page which I can now confirm to have been pleasantly non-representative of the actual product. Sorry about abusing your product.

Probably going to pick it up for Towns, though Wyv and Keep may be interesting.

3079 looks... bland. It may just be an unfairly generic description coupled with an astonishingly empty screenshot, but I see nothing on the Indie Royale preview page that would motivate a sale. Insofar as I can tell, it's like running Minecraft with a gun mod and no building. Phr00t may want to try to get that page revamped into something more interesting if he/she/it wants to bring in some sales.

EDIT: I AM A MORON WITH OVERZEALOUS SCRIPT-BLOCKERS. PLEASE IGNORE.

Xanatos Jr. - Norse - Lutefisk Legion vs  vs HLBeta - High Elves - Foot-The-Ball Legion VII
I think this makes the Norse-High Elves matchup the last one before we can get to the last week of the final season. Any ETA?

Going to echo ndkid here - you guys are the last game that needs to be played this week. Could we get some feedback if you've got a time/date set up?

I'm looking to move the week forward by this weekend.
We've made contact through Steam, but had some trouble getting synched up. I have a day off work coming up soon, so it's pretty likely we can get the match played before the weekend.

EDIT: Game is played, we're good to go.
