Well, that shows at least that you are a Fibonacci Voter.

But I've thought through it a little more and this might be exactly what I mean.  Org might not ignore the additional votes until the end of the day.  It would look like he's going to die and then (amazingly) he doesn't.

Yeah.  That's exactly what I've been doing.

It's kind of funny, because I was originally going to grab Holo + Shield to keep me alive longer.  And then I though, 'Let's have fun, I'll take the Intel'  Turns out that was a good idea... ;D

I second the day shortening.  Unless something is seriously wrong, the game is over.

(And yes Kashyyk who is now in my prison cells, Firefly is amazing.  I just finished re-watching it for the 4th (or 5th (or 6th)) time.  Firefly Mafia?  (Although I have no idea how that would work (and nested parenthesis greatly amuse me (I'm a computer scientist by training (can you tell? (yay for LISP)))))

Ok, enough.  Done for now.

Org, your role somehow sounds like one of those things webadict would say:
'Do not underestimate or overestimate the significance or power of your role. You may be sorely mistaken.'

(And I'm quoting the OP, not a PM... please don't kill me ;D)

Now the only problem would be to figure out what's there to over/underestimate.

(I'm not sure how conductive being so tired + insomnia is too logic, but I can't sleep so I might as well try to logic at things)

Huh, there's a limit on PMs?  Wow.  I would have thought that I'd hit that with how many message I'd been sending trying to find the Exterminator, but I haven't.

And yes.  A Scientist with Intel is powerful, but it really does help to find the Alien that he needs to kidnap.  And I guess the dopps to.  From what I've heard from Meph though, no one has ever chosen it before.  Kind of fun in a logic game kind of way.  :P

I'm curious what Intel would do in the hands of someone less sharing than I am?  I don't mind sharing information which probably made it more powerful.

Okay, I've gotten news back from the Detective.

- ToonyMan is a Dopp Medium (the Detective told me the Medium part; that implies the dopp part).
- BloodBeard has no reason to have said he was a dopp if he was the kook.  So he's the Dopp Leader.
- Frelock is a Kook.  And a Kooky one at that.  Sorry for doubting you.
- Webadict was the Vigilante with a Mind Shield.  Guess that explains why people haven't been dying left and right.  I should have figured that out earlier.  ::\

So vote BloodBeard.
I will kidnap ToonyMan tonight and end the game.

Yay us!  Anyone up for another (hopefully less broken, but who knows) round?  ;D

Oops.  Did double lynches get taken out last game?

That would put a minor damper on the plan.  But not really, as we can just lynch one dopp today, give me the other one tonight, and lynch the third tomorrow.

Shiny.

Now that I've revealed myself in the main thread, I can go ahead and jump in here without being too obvious.

Comments on previous stuff:
- I think that the Watcher ability (or some equivalent listening type thing) would be a useful 2-slot tech item rather than as a completely separate role.  Still powerful if the Scientist takes it, but being obvious about it will get them hunted down rather quickly.  (Which tends to make it hard for a scientist to win).
- I'm not opposed to the Abductions being moved up (everyone likes the team they're on).  For the record, I'm pretty sure that this doesn't change the Scientist's power, but makes others slightly weaker if they target the Scientist's target or are going to be targeted.

Comments on other Scientist stuff (I talked with Meph some about this):
- The Scientist should be able to let go of people if they want to (for example, if they get another of the same type; or if they're just feeling generous).
- The Scientist should be able to (officially) talk with the people they've kidnapped. I have been a little, but it would nice being official.

My 2 cents worth.  Thoughts?

Not quite correct ToonyMan.  ;D

The Exterminator is no longer a problem.  I am the Alien Scientist and I've kidnapped webadict (who was human) and Kashyyk (who was the Exterminator).  Therefore, all I am missing is a dopp and I will have won.  Since there are 2 dopps, lynching one today and giving me the other tonight will result in a win for both me and the Town.

To make things more interesting, I choose the Intel as my item.  I know all of the roles that exist in the game and have figured out (mostly through PMs) who all of the Humans are.

To help out the town, the possible roles of the remaining two dopps are:
- Dopp Leader
- Medium
- Vigilante (with a Mind Shield)
- Kook (not actually a dopp role, but I'm not sure who it is yet)

ToonyMan, BloodBeard, and Frelock have three of these roles (one is also a Kook) and webadict has the 4th.

The question then is, which one is the Kook?  I know there is a Detective in the game (I've been in contact with him) that was going to investigate one of the potential Mafia.  If they are the Kook, we know who the dopps are.  If not, then we know who one dopps is.  I just ask that you let me have that one and double lynch the other two today.  ;D

We'll find out if you (Zai) vote for Org.  I placed my reporterness on you today, so web should tell us if anything other than a single normal vote occurs when you vote.

I would not be opposed to a double / triple / everyone lynch if you (plural this time) believe that would be wise.

I'm wiped out, I'll be back on tomorrow to figure things out.

Psuedo-edit: I'll take that as affirmative.  As long as no one was lying, we can easily out lynch Org even in a 1 on 1 situation.

Honestly, I wouldn't have.  If I were Mafia, I would have already known that Pandar was town.  He's not likely to have been mistaken for scum as he would have been nearly impossible to kill.  But he wasn't terribly dangerous at the point, just hard to kill.

So far as Leaf, I was looking at his profile and he hasn't been on the forums since Aug 14.  So unless he sent webadict a list of kills beforehand, I think it's safe to say that he's innocent.  Unless PMs don't activate the 'forum activity' thing?

I'm vaguely suspicious about Zai for FoSing a dead person.  Probably just an honest mistake, but it's also possible that he is scum and trying to put suspicion on anyone that's not scum.

For now, I don't really have any suspicions on Frelock, but I guess I have to have some suspicions or you'll feel left out.  ;D

For now, I agree with Meph and will vote Org

If you aren't using the 40d# builds, then Dwarf Companion and Dtil work great.  I've been using both of them for one of my crazier megaprojects.

For the 40d# builds they don't have the correct memory locations.  But you can copy your safe to a 40d build, use the utility, and then copy it back.

I don't know if this is possible, but I'd like those features
changing a dorfs' stats(strenght,etc)
changing it's skills level (changing a dabbling dwarf in a legendary one)
healing\hurting a dwarf (so we can torture those nobles)
assigning animals to legendary warriors

yes, I know these are cheats, but you can just not use them.

I honestly don't know if chmod will ever be implementing features like this or not, but you do know that there are already multiple applications that do this, yes?

Clicky

I'm an Advanced Doppleganger. I tried to consume and replace Xegeth during the night but was blocked by a warden. There, now we have no chance to win. Can we please just end this and start another game? Meph admitted it was a mistake in our chat. I accept that, we all make mistakes, but this isn't fun anymore for either side (I'm guessing, what the fun in essentially shooting fish in a barrel?).

Not that that is necessarily totally believable, but this game has been strange enough thus far.

Edit-by-post:  If Diakron has a decent defense, than Zai will be next on my list of suspicions at this time.
