No, I think the poison breath on the random creature was just that: randomly generated. I mean, there might be a [POISONBREATH] tag, but it probably won't be on dragons.

I've always seen Fey moods as positive (read: elvish) versions of possesions. Only secretive, fell, and macabre moods are actually the dwarf doing the work in my mind. So, can you blame him if the spirit of some elf possesed him? He fought it and made it as dwarvy as possible!
The spikes... so bueatiful...the batman... so awesome...

To answer the question Mandaril asked a long time ago, in the 2D version if you actually mined out any adamantine the game would start a timer of sorts. AFAIK, every month you had a mined-out-adamantine-in-99 chance of the game just... ending. You could not reclaim, and if you went back in adventurer mode there was a very tough demon inside. Also note that, again  AFAIK, you had to go through the glowing pits, which funtioned exactly the same, before you hit adamantine.

Now, what could be "on a much more grand scale" than all of that?

Only 120 hours? You don't play it in the background, do you...

Anyway, I was confused as heck when I first started. Eventually, though, I got used to it. My tip is just to take it slow and try to learn one thing at a time. E.G. first, dig out some dirt. Then, designate a stockpile. Also, check the key bindings. I didn't and so I was stuck using - and wrapping around instead of + for... at least a week, if not more.

He said he did it on purpose because he wanted to have it look like a kobold cave.

Also, how did the dwarves live that long without you to watch? labors are turned off by default when a child grows up.. and with the low life-span, the growers, hunters, and gatherers should have dies long ago. Did you just build a huge stockpile before they died?

Personally, I think infinite clowns is not a good idea at all. IMO, if you strike their funhouse, the game would not be as fun if they just spawn forever. My perfect df reality would feature something like the 2d version: Sure, you can dump stuff in the gate to the plane of clowns. Hope you don't mind the very fun clowns you just summoned.

Also, hope this version turns out to be as awesome as it sounds so far!
Randomized megabeasts, underground makeover, tons of military stuff, the speed of 40d# with hopefully none of the crash issues, and so much more... I think I drool more over this than shrimp...

Will the next release have the same speed as 40d16? Going back to 40d, I realize I've gotten spoiled..

If you get a migrant wave of only one dwarf, it says "a" instead of "some" in the migrant message. Never actually saw that before...

Upping the size should help with that. AFAIK, damblock only works for normal attacks, not crits, while size works for everything.

My suggestion for tags is to put a really low swim speed. Finally, I can chase down those carp!

A flying thing that steals for kobolds? You should name it a trained magpie.

Anyway, I don't think they will actually give the items to the kobolds... I mean, that doesn't really matter, but, you know, just so you know.
