"Dammit, This has gone on long enough!" In a final bid, Gareid raises as large a slab as he can to unite the plant with the dust under it.

"Aww, crud. I can't help the fire, I'll try to keep it from burning you more though!" Garied desperately raises more slabs to deflect attacks.

4055
And we all post in like 10 minutes, AGAIN. Hope you're having fun writing, Irony.

"Hah! Fighting fire with more fire, It's gotta be hurting now." Garied raises two more slabs and attempts to crush, or at least pin, the plant between them.

ooc: Dont worry, if things look down I'll try to protect you more  :D, Sadly, I can't say the same for Tarran.

"Yes, quite the meatshield, aren't I." ,While continuing to manage the slabs, launch stone spears from the ground.

4058
"Oh lovely, fire breathing plant, meet fire flinging sorcerer, before the minute's out we're all going to be fried in an inferno." Gareid prepares to Summon Rock Slabs to block any incoming attacks

[nitpicking]
Actually I had meant to cast Coat of Mirrors to augment the Shield of Cloth already on me
[/nitpicking]

Sword raised, take a place with the Guard Captain, prepared to mince any orcs that come close

Oh, two spells and three abilities for each? Well in that case;

Spells:
Shield of Cloth: -3 to Damage Taken, Costs X Magicka
Coat of Mirrors: X% Chance of reflecting spell or strike, Costs X Magicka

Abilities:
Sundering Blows: A series of enchanted blows that aim to damage or destroy the opponent's weapon, X% Chance on each attack to damage or destroy the opponent's weapon, costs X Magicka and X Fatigue.

Harmonic Disruption: By pouring a certain pattern of Magicka into his strike, this ability can destroy a percentage of the opponent's Magicka, costs X Magicka and X Fatigue.

Hamstring: A blow that aims to cripple the enemy, reducing their Speed, costs X Fatigue

Feel free to tweak the abilities as you see fit.

4061
Well, I've already used one of the two, and I guess I'm about to use the second, so...
Shield of Cloth (-3 to Damage)
Coat of Mirrors (Small chance to reflect spells and strikes)

"Hrm, plenty of money to be made but, going this alone would be a suicide mission..." Gareid notices a figure passing through the aisles of the Archive. Curious, Gareid follows him, and observes as the figure remove a couple books, studying them for a few moments before leaving. Gareid looks over the books that the figure had read, "Demons of the north, I remember hearing about demand for supplies from there, too". Gareid places the books back and elects to follow the man (dermonster), perhaps it'll be a safer route than going into the forests, alone on a one-track mission. Regardless, Gareid takes his notes on the various reagents and materials in demand from the East, and quickly scribbles down relevant details of the north as well

ooc: Well, as far as my survival rates are concerned, I think I'm going to follow dermonster instead of going alone to the East >_>.

Gareid smirks to himself, "A largely unexplored land with all sorts of strange, unstudied beasts and ripe with all sorts of possible opportunities." Gareid closes the tome on the Eastern Forest, "This sounds right up my avenue, though it'd be pointless to go there without some other incentive..." He sets out to find any other jobs that might pertain to the Forest.

Atriard stares in awe at the pendant. "This is clearly too dangerous for me to lose, I wonder if I could somehow communicate with-" His thoughts are cut off as a resounding thud sounds from the direction of the gates, "No time, I have to get ready for the oncoming battle, if I'm lucky maybe this pendant can help me." Atriard quickly strings the pendant as securely as he can around his neck.

"The mages at Anvil had taught, no, specialized in Restoration magic, and chances are that if we manage to make it out of this battle, there will be some serious wounds to tend to." Atriard quickly scanned each person, observing the last bits of the barbarian's speeches and twitching slightly on watching the Necromancer's continued summonings, "The necromancer hardly even looks like he'll last any more hits than his minions." Atriard smirked somewhat at the thought of the Necromancer breaking apart at the slightest touch, "Nevertheless, I'll just have to do my best to protect who I can, I can always find some way to restore my magicka reserves later." Shrugging in annoyance, Atriard stresses to Raise a Reflective Shield on himself.

Garied stared at the books with a dumbfounded expression, "Well it would be nice to know how to obtain the undead for cooking in the first place.". Placing the books back on their shelves, and undeterred from trying to find information on the matter, searches for an archive about the Eastern Forest, preferably not involving cooking or cusine.
