RNG is pretty good but he would have gotten better damage efficiency with traps.

But the traps I have available aren't really that good. Maybe I should have put a few more of them down, but they cost 6 AP to set up(3 from scavenging, 3 from building) and deal 2.25 damage when a zombie walks on it. The trap has an 'accuracy' of 5-16(Chance of finding scrap) and costs 10 PP(for the Engineer and scavenger classes). The .45, by comparison, deals 3 damage for 5 AP, and doesn't require a zombie to walk on it first, and you can choose who to damage. It has an accuracy of 4-16, and costs $200, or the equivalent of 5 PP. I just figured it was a better use of time and scrap to build walls in hopes of buying my companions extra time, but it appears we have already been overrun.

After reminiscing about FFXI, I just got a sudden urge to play a Galka Monk. Galkas would obviously have to be homebrewed though, which I'm not sure Cthulhu is comfortable with.

I'm going to limit the races to things that aren't sahuagin, aboleths, ixxitixtixchixhtixhtixhitl, or other obviously evil creatures.  I'm also going to post how the campaign begins so you can fit your character into it.  This will be placed on the first post.

I'm probably just going to be a human anyway, or... hrm. Maybe a halfling?

Is multiclassing okay? I was thinking about going Rogue 3/Ranger 2 for the free two-weapon fighting.

Wait - I can just give you the pistol(Or actually, you can pick it up yourself, since your AP perks allow you to move and still fire the 5 AP gun twice.) Then I could spend more time building traps. Yeah, that sounds like a plan. I'll probably want the pistol back later to put in a turret or something, but for now this seems like the most economical use of AP, which we really can't afford to waste at the moment. Otherwise we will all die.

EDIT: I would suggest moving to D5, picking up the gun and firing it east at the reaver/zombies twice, then moving west once to D4 so you're out of the way when I hopefully build those traps there(if I'm forced to circumvent around somebody, I can only construct one trap).

Editted my post, then saw your new edit.  I actually only have 11 AP, since the medic class gives -2 AP.  That's enough to pick up the gun and fire east twice, so that's what I did.
I'll move before you next round so I'm out of your way (:  Thanks again!
Oh... wow, I didn't realize you could move diagonally.  :-[

Is there such a thing as an aquatic kobold?
No, but there are... SEA ORCS! Okay, maybe not. I stole that from Battle for Wesnoth, dunno if it exists in D&D or not.

Move to B3
Survey the battle while muttering, "Excellent... all according to plan."

Wait for some Valiant fool hero to die and drop a weapon.
Though odds are real good that I'll be healing next round.  With any luck that is.

Editted: Moving to B3
I think Cheddarius is only letting me take Org's weapon because Org has been completely useless this whole round, but he sent zombies at us expecting Org to shoot them. At least, that is what the special occasion sounded like to me.

And paladins are divine spellcasters.  You should keep in mind, whatever you pick, that you'll be at sea most of the time.  The traditional plate-armored sword'n'board tanky fighter/paladin is going to be out of his element.  Players should consider builds that rely on lighter armor, as falling into the water in heavy armor will most likely result in death.
Yeah, but they're more fighters first and casters second, which is still a different direction. Still, you're right about the plate thing...

I am thinking... Cleric? Maybe. I am getting tired of arcane magic because that is all I ever play. I think I will be something new.
So I've only ever played divine casters, and you mostly only play arcane? Role swap! Well, maybe. I still fancy the idea of trying out a Rogue.

Wait for everyone else to move.

If the reaver at E5 and the zombie at F5 are dead:

 - Move to F5 and and build a stonefall trap on F4.
 - Move to E5 and and build a stonefall trap on F5.

If they are not dead:

 - Move to C6 and build a stonefall trap on B6.
 - Move to C5 and build a stonefall trap on C6.

That's 10, right?

Oh and a dore, which is more of a gate-ish thing on account of walls really being more of a fence-palisade:

Resident newbie posting interest. I have played a grand total of... five 3.5e D&D sessions, but I am interested all the same if you're willing to tolerate me floundering through while I try to learn the ropes.

Out of those five sessions I was a druid for two and a cleric for three, so I kind of want to try a non-divine caster this time... Paladin maybe, but I was thinking Rogue or Sorcerer(Yes, I know Sorcerers are weaker than Wizards). Maybe Fighter.

As far as material goes, I have the 3.5 SRD bookmarked which contains most of the information in the PHB. I think. I haven't 'obtained' a copy because I dislike doing that(though I guess I could if I should really have it).

Hey guys... do you notice anything... odd about that girl? Are those fangs I spy?
Nope. Just looks like grass to me.

But remember, as a Quest - not an Adventure - this is intended as more serious, less 'lolrandom'. Stupid for the sake of stupid doesn't fit the tones of the story, and I reserve the right to ignore suggestions that make no sense and do nothing to contribute to the plot, theme, and mood of a scene.

Oh, sorry. I missed that part.

Could I just arbitrarily add a 'wait until after The Fonz' clause to the Start of RNG's action?
Nope, you can't force your teammates to do things. I will, however, wait for an hour or two to let RNG reconsider his turn, if he wants to and is online.

Try to bandage up my wounds, and figure out some way to use my halberd as a ground so I stop electrocuting myself.
