EDIT: we are allowed to use the supplies in other's chests, or no?
EDIT: I seem to have a slight error with my texture pack. Netherrack seems to have been replaced ith watery blocks

Woke up in the crew quarter's of some airship or another today. I apparently had goten VERY, VERY, VERY drunk and signed up to be part of some expedition or another. I really need to lay off Drink a hell of a lot more.



Exited the crew's quarters to a most unwelcome sight



Namely, I'm in the middle of a bloody desert.

Went down to engineering. everything in there is busted and looks kinda funky.


Went up to the bridge, found out that there -might- be someone else that survived the crash (where the hell did the bodies go, anyways?)
Had some useful tools, but I'm gonna wait and see if I can find the man before using his tools first.

Getting towards nightfall now.
I'm gonna camp in engineering, see if my old tinkering habitrs will let me figure out what all that does.

Had a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, whatever was in engineering has no hope in hell of ever working again. At the very least, I'm gonna make myself some room, and maybe a "keep out" sign.

Whoever owned that chest last night didn't come back for anything. I'm borrowing his pick and am gonna head for that peak I saw earlier. See if I can get a decent map of the area, maybe find something somewhere to signal for S&R.


Holy Armok. that peak I mentioned? mini volcano! Lots of coal, but too much lava.

There seem to be several of these Peaks/ridges located around the place, but VERY little else. surviving is, as they say, going to be a bitch.

Found a smaller crater, just in front of the ship. Looks like a supply crate landed there after spilling from our ship's wounded belly. Contained a crap ton of netherrack, wood, tools, chests and even some iron blocks and a crafting table



Took some wood, a chest, one of each tool, and the crafting bench. Bench is set up in the crew's quarters, if anyone else finds this journal. I've left the chest where it lies, but I put up some netherrack to illuminate it

We must have pissed the commonwealth off more than I thought. Woke up this morning to this sight:


Automatons. Sp.Id.R(s), Longbows, Zed-mechs, and "Creeper" class suicide drones.......

I am so dead.

thank god for this armor. two drones spotted me and blew up, but they only buffeted me a little bit.
Working on making a ranged weapon, so I also killed some crawlers for their artificial ligaments.

Also spotted an odd structure... North-East(?) of the ship, gonna go check it out.


...yeah... bad idea. filled with Zeds and Drones


Mined out the top of it, looks like there's stairs leading downwards. Zed malfunction in direct sunlight, So i'll try that and see if I can pacify them



Gona mine out some coal from the volcanoes and make some torches to exlpore that place. and probably die horribly.
