For statue shenanigans, I propose either the ladder from DL1 or a checkpoint in an unimportant place if we can get either of them. A teleporting party member could be very useful for exploring and finding loot, assuming what comes out is actually a party member.

Do I detect a bit of UN Owen in Made of Time, or am I losing it?
It might just be similar sounds, but I swear I hear Interdimensional Voyage of a Ghostly Passenger Ship at the start of Fuschia Ruler.

Yui is starting to seem a bit creepy now.
I guess at least it's not a Colonel Sanders doll or something like that.

I'm just glad this doesn't interfere with my favourite ship.

This version doesn't need a TNT block to activate. I tested it and it still works, even though it's an old trick. You also have the option to circumvent the entire sand portion and just use it to flood the room with lava instead.

RE: Homestuck: The Animated Series

Pesterlogs could work if the voice actors narrated it and the show showed what was going on during the chat.

IE, Karkat rage, stuff like that.

It'd be no worse than anime where it's ALL TALKING.
It would still get bad ratings because noone wants to watch a show where almost half the content is text with narration. It's the same reason why crime dramas bullshit all the computer stuff. People will get bored if they have to watch scrolling text on a screen for more than 10 seconds at a time.

The best someone could do to avoid alienating the majority of potential viewers would be to replace pesterchum with another communications system, say phones or VoIP, and rewrite all the jokes that depend on typing quirks.

Homestuck: The Animated Series

Hmm, I'd love this.

The main theme would be Showtime, right?
It's really too bad that there's nothing that can be done about the pesterlogs that doesn't either make them tedious or remove the original charm.

While adding the extra spawn loop yesterday I seem to have caused a glitch in the pork production. If the spawn room is empty, the pigs start stacking in the block where they spawn because of a physics glitch. It's hilarious seeing 45 pigs flying all over the room when you punch the conglomerate.

Train routing: What about stopping the cart just before a two-way split, with a switch that determines the direction, and a button to start moving again?
A system for handling that automatically was added in a recent version: Chat commands for intersections.

I was thinking along the lines of automation, you hit a button at the central station, and the cart goes straight to that place passing other stations. Wireless wouldn't work due to chunks not loading therefore not updating the redstone at the end station before you get there.
There's no use of the wireless receiver gate involved because you choose the direction when you reach the intersection. I don't see what's wrong with using that system and putting signs at intersections saying which direction goes where. In the end it means you have more redstone to use for alchemy once Soul's RPG plugin is finished.

Why would the minecart tracks need redstone? Intersections use chat commands and a launcher would best be operated with a closed circuit centered directly under the chest.

I couldn't finish the mod because reactions are messed up so the entire death school was pretty much screwed without the ability to use bones (and the computer I was using got wiped so I lost the mod). If someone else wants to try making it again once reactions work properly with bodyparts, that would be great.

My idea for poisoned bolts turned out to be a flop, since the bolts would evaporate before they could be placed in the quiver. A poisoned dagger would likely be even more impossible.

nice necro

Uh...no. Windows 7.

And if you say "That wouldn't happen if you had a Mac.", I'll end you.
That wouldn't happen if you were running Linux.
True dat. I also noticed a significantly higher framerate when I started using my Ubuntu partition to run Minecraft instead of Win7 home edition. 32pix textures are completely unplayable (even on tiny) on windows for me but I can run them on normal render distance on Linux. I hear Arch Linux gets even better results though.

BiomeTerrain is pretty awesome, but sadly it only works in singleplayer. There's another mod for SMP that's almost as good and seems to be more consistent about the subterranean worlds it generates though it has fewer features. Even if you don't generate a new world it would be a good idea to try it for any chunks that are generated for the current one, so we can have swamps, naturally occurring hell stones and underground lakes.
