Simon looks up at you in surprise, but it takes only a second for the context to reach his brain. He blushes, looks downwards, coughs and rubs at his cheek, blushing even more fiercely.

"Oh, um, th-thank you sir drone, I am, um, flattered, but, um, um, I am not interested. I mean, really, no offense." He mumbles out, still blushing, and quickly drinks the remainder of his mix. "So, um, I think I will be going, well, now. G-goodnight sir drone." Simon puts down the glass and hurriedly leaves the bar and through the main gate he goes.

With a shrug, you begin cleaning after the two.


The bar is clean again and all the glasses are prep'd and ready.

"Hmmm." Simon looks at Louise, who shrugs. "Well, alright. I will have that one."

Louise takes a big swig of her drink as you prepare the Sweet Gem Berry for Simon. First the blue Buenberry, the the purpleish Ribesnero, the dark synthols mixing between the bits of crushed ice in the tank glass.

You serve it to Simon while his aunt lets you scan her credchip again. (+76c)

"Of course, auntie." He says, taking another sip. Simon then looks after his aunt as she slowly walks through the hall and through the main gate.

With a sullen face, the youth takes another sip and siiighs. He props his chin against his free hand, looking like a sad pup.

"She's so pretty, that's not fair."

The victorious troops of Zhao brought an officer of Wu before the King of Zhao. And the name of that captured officer was Kong Xun. "This man had the singular foresight to prepare against us." Shouted Zhou Dong. "His forces had stationed in the docks and at the coastal towers, shooting arrows." Explained Su Huan. "Although that was for naught, for we have prevailed." Added Wang Ju. "Why was it for naught?" Inquired King of Zhao, and suddenly the captive officer spoke up. "For neither my superior, Cheng Xun, nor his secondary, Wei Huang, thought that you would strike against just one of our lands. I plead with them to defend our granaries in Tan, but they listened to King's orders, rather than military principle!" And so was King of Zhao taken with words of the young Kong Xun, that he rewarded his expertise with riches and a title of General.

"Finish the maid first." Louise smirks at her nephew. "It's bad taste to leave a lady unfinished, you know?" The boy grumbles as you tap away at the console.

Or if I don't have time, I try them out on the next SRC outpost we get to. Like this time. It's my fifth mix overall."

"How's Kinky Maid for you, then? Up to your palate, hopefully?" Simon thinks a little while Louise eyes him studiously.

"Flavorful, strong..." He takes another sip. "I'm not sure its the one I would call favorite."

"Don't fall for the drone's care for your preferences, Simon. They only want your - my credits by serving you mixes. I've told you, get a shot of a synthol and try singular flavors first."

"Sorry, aunt." Simon pauses for a second. "Wait, the bartender's a drone?"

"Yeah, changed his conversational programming on the fly. The voice, the syntax, all that jazz. You didn't notice?"

"Um, n-no?" Louise rolls her eyes.

"I need to get you some wetware implants, I swear..."

"Miss Pereres, you do not have to this rude to your nephew. Plus, I am a little surprised you did notice." Louise shrugs.

"I'm a cyborg. My internal processing units do take notice of pre-programmed talky lines and such. Don't expect to fool me."
