The salesman checks the book, then gives Friderick his new shiny weapon of justice and order-maintaining!

"Ah! By contract we have signed with the local authorities, we can dispense with 15 Reichmark discount for Reich soldiers per any item they buy from us! All I need is to see your soldier book."

@Friderick:

The salesman looked at Friderick's armor.

"You're a Reich soldier?"

You invite Xanetherna Ashqueen inside.

Few minutes later, a large entourage of grotesque creatures enters your throne room. There is a pair of one-eyed giants armed with hammers, two winged serpents with rubies for their eyes. They are followed by a three-headed bull of white skin and golden eyes, and a winged, emaciated humanoid with three horns sprouting from his head, and a throng of half-men half-pigs clad in leathers and furs, with tusks gleaming with dried blood and filth.

There is also a red, winged horse that has fully white eyes. On top of it, there is a lady of charcoal skin, clad in golden loincloth and shirt that show more than they cover. She wears a winged tiara that encircles her curly, thick, raven-black hair. A white cat naps happily on her lap, occassionaly exhaling puffs of smoke and fire.

She tosses the cat off and looks at you, while the feline climbs onto one of the giant's shoulders with a hiss. Your wife elbows you so that you stop staring at her enormous melons so blatantly.

"You are the King of this little kingdom? How quaint. I am Xanetherna Ashqueen, Tamer of the Fiery Gods, Daughter of the Third Moon, Guardian of the Western Edge of the World, and Sorceress Extraordinaire. I heard of the riches that this kingdom possesses, and to be frank, I want them. I believe in fair trade. Ask me of whatever you wish, and I will name my price."

You say that you're not sure what you can ask of such a powerful woman.

"Bah! When I say anything, then I mean anything! Artifacts! Wealth! Power! Knowledge! Use your pea brain, petty king, I'm sure you can come up with even the most frivolous of desires!"

A) Ask for an artifact... (details to follow)
B) Ask for a spell that will make your soldiers stronger.
C) Ask for health and prosperity for your family.
D) Ask for wisdom about many things.
E) -
F) Ask for mastery of speech.
G) Ask for endurance and better health.
H) Ask for innate good luck.
I) Ask for a spell that will scare fanciful creatures away from the kingdom's borders.
J) Ask for prosperity and growth for the Kingdom and its populace.
K) Ask for a mighty beast to be bound as your pet/mount/guardian/something like that.

//As there's a ton of options involved, the game won't continue until at least 7 votes are cast.

The Parsian scoffs.

"You shall regret it one day, King of Luathbas!" He then leaves.

854 AD, Summer

The tournament scheduled for this summer finally begins!

Quote
1

Alas, due to a little incident involving the members of the (reforming) military and more traditional knights, the tournament ended abruptly in a brawl that left several minor noblemen dead and maimed, and some officers now in custody, too! Not to mention that the whole catastrophe (and You, as its host) became the butt of many a joke amongst the peasantry.

854 AD, Autumn

While you're debating with some noblemen about minor taxation adjustments in one of the western cities, a terrified guard barges into the council room and begs for forgiveness.

"S-Sire! There's this woman and she is riding a red horse with wings and there are two one-eyed giants with hammers and a throng of horrific pig-men! And fire-breathing kitten! She has skin as dark as charcoal and she says her name is Xanetherna Ashqueen and she is a sorceress and she wants to have an audience with you at once!"

You ask the advisor what exactly is a Sorceress.

"Sorceresses are female Wizards if Wizards were all about selling their services for absurd amounts of money. They are easily offended, very powerful and extremely vain, my liege. At least that's what folk tales say."

A) Invite that 'Xanetherna Ashqueen' to the throne room.
B) Have her dismissed, you ain't need no magic at the moment.
