Your deploy your troops unevenly so that the right flank gets most of it.
7*
Your deployment proves to be a marvelous tactic! That flank of the Tvenian troops collapses fairly easily and under your skilled leadership the victorious flank is quickly re-deployed to thicken the other parts of your army, so that the remaining enemy cannot pierce through!
As the time passes, the army deal larger and larger casualties to the Tven forces, and you don't even get into melee before the enemy flees! Your men captured two thousand and bury four thousand of the enemy dead, with your own total wounded and dead being only quarter of that number.
That day, on that battlefield, you earned the nickname of 'Master Tactician' amongst your brave soldiers!
Then you continue on to Tven capital, to deal the final blow against your opponents.
A week later your force arrives at the Tven capital. The surrounding villages are easily captured, considering they're devoid of militia. Only terrified peasants remained behind.
851 AD, Late Summer
As the siege continues while your men prepare siege engines for most of the week, a tired messenger with the letter from your cousin arrives.
Sela's forces are currently struggling against combined Ruz-Tven counteroffensive that have managed to push her away from within the sights of Ruz palace. She is asking you to send some troops northwards toward Ruz to tie the allies or at least cause a distraction that would relieve pressure from her own army.
A) Send about half of your army to the Ruz border with orders to attack any enemy forces they find there.
B) Send your cavalry with the messenger, you don't need horsemen while camping around a keep, after all.
C) Send your sincere apologies that you cannot help her as you're busy with the siege, after all.
