You lead your army to Achton!

By the next day your forces clash with the rebels who marched forth and attacked you thanks to hiding via forest. Only few scouts had time to report the attack and thus it allowed you to at least partially deploy your men in defensive position, which under guidance of someone less tactically-inclined could end rather badly.

Your forces suffer some casualties but that battle is won! This enables you to continue on to Achton, and shortly after joining the rest of your men who besiege the city, you are rushed to a tent for rest.

As the healers keep you down on a length of fur and re-examine your wound, you order your commanders to...

A) Prepare siege equipment and lead the attack against the walls of Achton.
B) Surround the city and wait till you recuperate and can lead your men again.

Next morning you receive a report.

The warp core explosion have sufficiently distorted the nearby subspace, allowing the fluctuation to collapse and then rebound into normal space, which means that the fluctuation now had enormous mass yet disproportionately small radius of about 30 planar kilometres.

J-26.II, a small gas giant, has been already torn apart by this emergent black hole, and the colonists from J-26 Prime scramble to escape, but many will be lost as the black hole traverses through/out (if it will be moving in the first place) the system.

Later the same day, the Ministry of Astrophysics has a press conference to explain themselves to the public.


You appear at the Imperial Household Civil Office in a simple white dress. Your husband is there too, in a suit, and you both sign the marriage papers. Various ministers and government officials congratulate you and wish for the Imperial Family to prosper and endure for centuries. There is a small reception where some interstellar delicacies and some synthehol (per official observances) are present for people to snack and drink.

By 4pm you're back at the Office of the Empress. Sirtana beeps right away.

"Good afternoon, Empress. There is rioting on planet Sincity Prime. The citizenry demands your abdication for the disaster in system J-26. Governor Pilate requests aid to bring order back to the planet."

They return victorious, having smashed the other force apart.

By the evening, the city of Neisyne appears. The surrounding farmlands have been burnt to the ground, and the scouts report of two large and fortified rebel camps northwest and northeast of the city. They know of your arrival as the scouts have seen some unknown riders about and at least one spearmen formation report clashing with some horsemen.

Your banners are proudly fluttering above Neisyne's keep; its garrison managed to hold it so far.

A) Have the army march into Neisyne to boost its garrison.
B) Circle the city and attack one of the camps head-on.
C) Stop and prepare to engage any incoming enemy forces, if any are found, right here.

You explain, via translator, that the planet was given to your predecessor and you didn't make development plans for it. You do promise to ask its governor to be more mindful of the planet's biology.

The insectoid creature clicks and clacks something that the translator does not pick up, then it thanks for your enlighted decision, and leaves.


While you're making some coffee with help of the matter replicator, Sirtana appears on your desk.

"Your Empress, you have one message from the Bandanas Family. As you know, it was once a branch of the previous dynasty until they lost a power struggle and have been disgraced, living outside of political arena for the last ninety years."

"They offer to send their talented son Asus as your spouse. The Head of Imperial Household, having been informed beforehand, also believes that this could be a good choice, since after losing their grip on politics, Bandanas have produced many influential artists, pop-culture idols and renowned scientists."

A) Finally a proper match for an Empress. Accept!

You reject her soup and tell her to bring food and medicine sanctioned by the healers only.


You rest five more days before a messenger arrives.

The city of Shoech have fallen but now loyalist-held Neisyne is being besieged by the rebel forces! There are few banners of the multitude of the small and impoverished kingdoms of the northern wilds.

A) Have the commanders break off the siege of Achton and concentrate on holding Neisyne and Shoech.
B) Recall the troops to your location so they regroup, then you shall lead them!
C) Order a horse to be prepared - you will lead men to relieve the siege Neisyne yourself!
D) Order a horse to be prepared - you will lead men besieging Achton yourself!
