For the last twenty years, the Reich began to dominate the Troian Empire; first economically, then politically, and finally militarily, absorbing one land after another, putting the old monarchy under the heel of Reich republican bureaucracy.

Some welcomed the change, as the Reich for long time has been a friend in the eyes of the Troian populace.

Some however refuse to acknowledge their overlords, and in the shadows and alleys they plot and plan the demise of the new regime, endangering the fragile peace and stability that just arrived in the region.

Shall the conspirators be stopped before the Overseasland will see another mountain of corpses and seas of tears as a result of a rebellion?

Mayhaps an investigator, certain man called Richard Astleich, and his men, can stop this from happening...

~~Prologue: A Little Leg Stretching~~


30th Vierzember:
The storm that stirred the seas for the last two days have finally subsided and 'The Oberstein' have finally been able to set sail again. Despite this slight delay, we will be arriving at Blumhart by tomorrow's morning, or so does the good captain of the frigate say. And because of that, I have decided to give those young soldiers assigned to me a small training drill, with permission and help of the Oberstein's crew. After all, the youths were stuffed in their cabins for last three weeks; a little leg stretching won't hurt.

Few amused seamen were betting coins. A pair of younger ones, eager for some brawling, plus a healer, were at the deck as well, while the Captain's first officer, a man named Oskar, brandished a javelin with a resigned sigh.

"Man, why is it always me..."

"...and remember, don't overdo it. The chaplain here can heal only some of the wounds." Richard Astleich then stepped away from his soldiers.

"Begin!"
