Update 10: Till the End of the World
In 1996 we finish first SDI, in Berlin.

Two years later we research Stealth, and we will soon have fighters strong enough to repel the Stealth Bombers that Mongols continue to toss at us. Also, the SDI in Nuremberg comes online the same turn.

Year 2000 on the calendar and the Eternal Chancellor of ZE REICH, Frederick, officially retires in 20 years. Of course the Zulu spaceship will end this sooner.

Scientists get jittery in 2003.

Suddenly Mongols turn around from Zulus and strike their own lapdog of the last 200 years - the Romans!
...Fuck you Caesar, you deserved that V:

We aren't spared of the brutal offensive, though.

Nanking and Xinjian switch ownership as well.
Next year we quickly re-capture and re-garrison Ormuz, albeit most of infrastructure was lost. Fortunately, the most important two pieces - SDI Defense and SAM Missiles are still intact.

YOU UNGRATEFUL BASTARDS AND WE WERE SUCH A BENEVOLENT OCCUPYING FORCE!

Eh fine you can have it, it was reduced to 1 population pile of rubble by all your bombing runs anyways.
...You didn't see it as mid-battles cannot be screenshotted, but two Mongol Deathbots arrived in front of our fort outside Nuremberg. I was ready to admit defeat... and then MASSIVE ZULU CRUISE MISSILE STRIKE wiped the Deathbot stack. Danke Gott for the enemy of my enemy!

Barely any grassland visible; most of terrain is swamp, plains, desert or jungle.
Mongols continue to bomb us; their newest favorite target seems to be Munich.

Massive, surprise coastal bombardment of Leipzig happens; Mongols throw 4 Aegis Cruisers, 2 Destroyers and a Battleship against it, and we lost the city to a paratrooper force.
We stage a desperate attack and retake the city in 2010.
...Oh right. It's 2010!
The game ends next turn so have a map of ZE REICH that, despite all odds, managed to cling to life and survive that long in the wastelands of war-torn planet Andala.

Yep. That happened.

As you can see Zulus and Mongols powered from the early game. I'm proud of our surge in the late 19th/early 20th century; our Luftwaffe and then capture of Ormuz sure boosted our survival chances!

Haha, the pollution murdered any score points we had. It's so sad.
Well folks, that's it! ZE GERMAN REICH survived but we didn't get to 2020 either. I will scribble this down as 'Stalemate'.
Cya in the next playthrough, in which we will move back in time to 278BC to see the squabbles of Mediterranean powers while this little republic called 'Rome' rises to power!
